Alexander A Galvan's Online Review Report Card

This place is amazing!!! Dr Galvan is very nice and very thorough with his work. Brian and Zuri at the front office are always so kind and professional. All the staff is amazing!! Love this place!

I absolutely love this place!!!!! Dr Galvan is super nice and explains everything. All of the staff are so nice!!! My kids feel comfortable and they don't mind going to the dentist because everyone makes them feel comfortable and safe.

I didn't like the dentist man he was mean to me.

This place will charge the wrong insurance that you don't even have and not tell you anything the man at the front desk will also yell at you for not waring a mask even though they don't tell you you need one in advance they post it on the door they also sent me a message after I left that I owe them $50 for not showing up to my appointment why don't you guys worry about the fact that your insurance is giving you the wrong information they should of verify my insurance in the first place now wait til I got there I been waiting a whole month for you guys to look at me I have an infection going across my entire mouth from crap shit work that this place did in the first place my fillings fell out in a very short time and he won't even fix his mystake well thanks your receptionist staff is the rudest people I have ever delt with I wouldn't go here you people are horriable good luck collecting the $$ on the bill you have already charged me through the wrong insurance because you need to charge the right insurance company.

This is a fantastic dentist. I've been seeing Dr. Galvan for a year now and have had both routine and cosmetic work done. 5 stars, 5 reasons. Notable: 1) he doesn't overbook himself so you're seen in a timely manner and don't wait long in the waiting room. 2) his staff loves him (which tells me a lot) and they're all extremely nice. 3) he provides necessary treatment without advising treatment that is more of a choice than necessary. 4) he is totally COVID safe. 5) he is kind and listens to your concerns.

This dentist put in a crown that didn't fit. He blamed it on the people who made the mold. He later redid it but put it in wrong. I went back and he said it was fine. I explained that part of my old tooth was exposed but he just argued with me. Fast forward two years after having the crown not fitting properly and I have to have pay for another crown from a new dentist. My current dentist said that he cannot believe that another dentist did such poor work. He said that I should have reported Dr. Galvin.

Not even sure where to start. I get a letter in the mail saying that Dr. Galvan is withdrawing from professional services..and found me another dentist..what the hell? I went in last week for a cleaning and had to return due to DR YANG not finishing my cleaning. I guess this pissed them off so much that they no longer wish to see me. I called and asked about it, Dr Galvan says that someone left a yelp review "similar to my charts" and they decided they no longer would like to service me. Well i didn't have a yelp account until right now and I'll leave a real review, DR YANG was extremely rude the entire time, she did not let me ask any questions, she did not finish the cleaning resulting in me having to return the same day, and as soon as I walked in she began arguing with me. She kept asking me what she thinks she should do, like I'm the dentist, begins repeating herself loudly over and over. Then she says well I can finish the cleaning, so I say okay finish it. She rushes through it, leaves my mouth completely bloody, and is rushing me out of the chair. I ask for something to rinse my mouth out with she hands me a cup all pissed off. So I guess someone else had a similar experience and left a yelp review about it and now they drop me as a patient. I called and tried to speak to Dr Galvan, who kept cutting me off on the phone and kept insisting I left some yelp review, when I didn't even have an account? Dr Yang must have messed up on another patient. Either way I've reported this office, Dr Galvan and Dr Yang to the dental board.Not to mention last year when I had a visit, I had several fillings put in that all cracked the same day so I had to go back. Something's really wrong with this office. They also do not send full documentation to have deep cleanings approved by your insurance companies as it has now happened twice, and I ask my insurance they say they didn't recieve enough documentation and the X-rays look fine, and they did it again this year. My insurance is insisting they did not receive enough meanwhile Dr Galvan is arguing with me that they always send everything to get it approved...then immediately quotes me an out of pocket cost of $680 to get it done.Reported to the dental board.

Everyone is so pleasant in this office from all the hygienist to dr Galvan but Rose the administrator is something else.. She so nice to people she knows since we were with several patients in the lobby while waiting but very rude specially to the elderly.

I live in Maui but I could not find a dentist I can trust with my dental needs. I went all the way to California to find one and I did. Alexander Galvan and his team were so impressive and accommodating. They took the preliminary check-up and X-rays. They were so efficient with the whole process. Then my next appt. was a few days from that because they were accommodating me before I fly back to Maui. They were doing a deep cleaning. I wasn't looking forward for this procedure since it usually hurts. I came in and Dr. Yang and Hayley took over the procedure and wow, was I impressed!. It did not hurt at all and she did it in less than an hour. On top of that, my teeth and gums were looking good. I found my dentists!!!!! I would not mind flying in just for dental work. The team is amazing!!!! Dr. Galvan also practices aside from General Dentistry, Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry. Very impressive! I just need to go to him for all my dental needs. So blessed I found him and his team. Thank you so much for taking care of me.

Best dentist ever. I had a wonderful experience! I was always nervous to go to the dentist, usually because I was afraid to get judge. I genuinely love this dentist. The front desk, Hayley(hygienist), and Dr. Galvan. They were all very friendly and caring. Hayley talked to me and made me feel calm. I would 100% recommend to anybody.
