My daughter saw him for torn ankle ligaments and he was very pleasant. Seems very knowledgeable and explained everything to our satisfaction.
He is great! We have already referred 2 of our friends!
Dr. Schlechter is one of the best, if not the best doctor I ever had. I recently underwent surgery with him and I know him and his staff did the best possible job and I am really excited to return to play my sport. He is knowledgable and you can't go wrong with someone like him.
Have recommended him several times. Great doctor.
Would highly recommend Dr. Schlechter. He is very patient taking the time to answer all of my questions; he is awesome relating to my 15 year old son. His Mission Viejo staff is the best!
2 ACL Surgeries My daughter tore her ACL twice (left and right). Both surgeries very successful. She’s been playing soccer again for the past 2 years and doing great. Very grateful to Dr. Schlecter.
Dr. Schlechter was great. He treated my son's broken ankle. He was very agressive in his treatment, which I liked, and knowlegeable. He has a hyper personality but is very very conscientous. My son is all healed and back to playing all of his sports. He even followed up with my by phone after surgery to check on my son. You can always get messages to him and he will respond.
He was great with my daughter and I wouldn't hesitate recommending him to all my friends. Recommended to me by nurses who know who the best surgeons are.
He spent almost no time with me, and he didn't even have that many patients. When I complained to him, he was very rude.
Went in for treatment for chronic elbow pain for which my child had been under orthopedic care for 2 years and was getting physical therapy. (Had to switch doctors due to insurance change) Dr. acted like extreme elbow pain, with numbness in fingers (new problem), was a normal part of playing softball and was dismissive of her pain or the increasing severity. No diagnosis and no treatment other than a referral to physical therapy and a useless brace. He refused an MRI because he said it would be abnormal. Also, he told us that no follow up with him was necessary.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
