List of Alex Zand's Reviews
I have never had a dr treat me worse. I was asking for help because I couldn't walk anymore and needed to be hospitalized for back surgery. I was crying and he screamed at me to be quiet that he was in a hurry and only had so much time. It was awful. When I left I told the nurse I think I needed to be hospitalized and she said sorry he wasn't going to help me. I ended up calling an ambulance from home unable to walk at all anymore from severe back disc herniation..my sciatic was almost completely pinched on.both legs. My neurosurgeon said he can't believe I was sent home. I honestly will tell Dr Zand , your own staff kept apologizing to me for the horrible way you acted. Your nurse told me she was so embarrassed when you left the room. Shame on you. You took an oath medically to help. It's evident to me that you didn't honor it. I'm not your patient anymore but even the hospital staff at st joseph hospital said they had heard stories. See this Dr at your own risk.
Absolutely amazing doctor. Dr. Zand is incredibly knowledgeable and never fails to make us feel so comfortable during our appointments.
He is very good Dr but good luck to make appointments and if you made one take a day to spend in there office I go to ER faster than his office, I am going to ask my HMO to change my primary provider reluctantly.

With Heavy heart i write this. I couldn't walk anymore from back herniation and dr zand, when I went to see for pre op got angry with me when I started crying, I was in desperate pain. He Said I needed to see specialist before surgery but I told him I couldn't walk anymore.. he was so cruel and told me to be quiet, yelling at me while I cried. It was awful to be treated that way when all I needed was to be hospitalized and helped. Then when I had an ambulance come get ne at home he wouldn't help me at hospital, the staff dr ther e helped me. They did all tests and surgery. I will never see him as a dr again. It was terrible.
Great staff very professional all theDoctors really care about seeing if there is any underlying issues. I am very thankful to have this location as my primary physicians I trust all of the staff.
If you're looking for a doctor that you want to get to know and your personal medical needs this is not the doctor for you. Dr.Douad and his staff are very numbers oriented. 9 times out of 10 you'll get a PA. And a different PA every time.
I have been seeing Dr. Zand for several years. He was highly recommended by the my orthopedic office. Over the years Dr. Zand, his office staff and colleagues have provided me with the highest level of care. They are thorough, and quickly respond to all of my needs. Concerned about my Covid symptoms, I called after 3 pm yesterday and had a phone visit with Dr. Zand and a nurse by 5:30 pm. I was given direction on the do’s and don’ts in regards to diet, meds, and more - easing my worries.
Not recommended for diabetes. I have a higher A1c now then before seeing him. He is a prescription pusher.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
