Anita C. York's Online Review Report Card

I saw her for an annual WWE. Would never go back to this office. She was in and out in less than 5mins. Said everything looked good. Ordered a bunch of labs. Didn't hear back regarding any of the results. I waited approx. 3 wks as they tend to mail normal labs and it takes at times that long to get in the mail. After not hearing back I LM asking for a call back. Her MA left a detailed msg on a number with abnormal labs. There's was a note in my chart that was placed there that clearly says not to leave abnormal results in any # (I was present when my other Dr's office put that msg there). Talk about HIPPA violation. This was Not even all but I'll end it there. Absolutely no communication within that office which resulted in my treatment being really delayed. Had I not been on it things would have turned out really bad for me, health wise with treatment being even more delayed. It went from a 5min visit and everything looking good to me needing a procedure right away.

Dr. York has the bedside manners of a junk yard dog. Delivered my first child with her and she was yelling I wasn't delivering faster, so she could do a cesarian with her next patient. I'm sorry my labor and delivery didn't go to the Dr.'s liking??? The epidural wore off on one side of my body and was very painful and frightening - she offered no comfort, reassurance or information. She made my first delivery an awful and traumatic experience with her demeanor, when it should be a beautiful one. Shame on her!!! I have since delivered 3 more kids and it only confirmed she is awful.

Called this morning to make an appointment only to be informed that Dr York is retired. That was a great start to my day.

Awful. Avoid her at all cost. She was my OB for my first child 17 years ago. Told me to stop eating because “I was getting fat”. Gave me an episiotomy without consent- I tore from one end to another. Had PPD and she told me to “quit whining and see a shrink”. Awful. Avoid her at all cost

I just called to make an appointment with dr. Your whom I have seen for 12 years. The operator without any explanation told me that she is not seeing any patient till the end of the year. Are you kidding me? I need a doctor who I can keep in touch what kind of service is this. Unfortunately I need to change my doctor after so long. I think she needs to retire or give an explanation why is that. She was always hard to visit but never this hard. Time to move on, thank you Dr. York !

I have seen Dr. York twice-maybe for a total of 20 minutes. The first time, she prescribed something that did not work, so I went back for a follow-up to tell her it was not working and to ask about my hormone levels (older woman) as I'd been having some symptoms associated with that. . At that follow-up, without labs/exam/questions to back it up, the doctor told me I had a mental disorder and needed counseling and a medication to deal with it. All this from maybe a 10 min. visit! Now nothing I said indicated this and while I don't have any of the symptoms, there was also nothing to substantiate this. Turns out my "symptoms" are linked to an allergic reaction I had to something in the hospital in Oct. Did she ask anything about my background? No. So I am now trying to get this new "wrongful" diagnosis removed from my health record. I would not recommend this doctor and will never go back. If I could give a "0", I would.

The WORST PHONE service of any doctor. No one ever answers the phone. I have been a patient of Dr York for more than 20 years. She is very thorough and knowledgeable but if you need refills forget it. They will never get your prescription correct.

Dr. York has been my physical for more than 10 years. She is very knowledgeable and thorough BUT their phone lines NEVER work. You will be put on hold for 15 minutes or more. This is the 4th time this has happened.

My wife went in to see Dr. York for her annual check up. This same doctor she been seeing for over 30 years. York said that she had notice something during her check up and told her to get a MRI. My wife got a test the very next day and tried on several occasions to have York call her with the results. Its now been over a month and no call back. My wife has moved on and found a better doctor who gave her the results right away( no issues). York is in my opinion a poor doctor and should retire

She is the most rude and condescending doctor I have ever encountered. She performed a Pap smear on me without my permission and made me feel sexually assualted.
