The man saved my life from astrocytoma. His surgery was successful and because of that I could get further treatment and continue living. What more could I say? Oh yeah, he’s very kind, informative and responsive. Everything you need, that’s him.

In 2005 my wife suffered from a tumor on her spine causing her to suddenly lose all control of her legs. Dr Anker performed a lengthy emergency surgery on her spine to relieve the pressure on the spinal cord. Today some 15 years later she is still walking around with full control of her legs. We wish we could give Dr Anker much more than 5 stars.

My daughter has a pineal brain tumor that we have been watching—recently it grew 2 mm and a 3mm Rathke’s cyst was noted on her Pituitary gland so we were told to follow up with Dr Anker again. After dropping of her new MRI we have not been contacted by the Dr even after calling the office leaving multiple messages with his front office lady. (4 times) letting her know that we are worried and concerned because she is experiencing symptoms. 3 weeks have gone by and we still have NOT talked to Dr Anker.

Very diligent, professional, experienced & compassionate physician. My brother’s outcome wasn’t good but Dr. Anger tried his hardest to help reverse a bad situation. Couldn’t be happier about the care given.

In 2011, I saw the Dr. Anker for a foot drop caused by bacterial spinal meningitis. I now have an arachnoid cyst and I am to see him again. He was very thorough and professional. He also, has a great demeanor I would highly recommend him..

I was referred to Dr. Anker via my PCP for sever low back pain with a bulging disc. After receiving approval, I called for an appt. I was told by 'Theresa' that as soon as the Dr. reviewed my x-rays & MRI, she would call and set up an appt. 1 1/2 months later still no call and when I called back, she said he hadn't even looked at them yet. After another month, still no appt. I complained to my PCP. I am still having a lot of pain and it would seem that Dr. Anker is too busy to bother with my problem as 'Theresa' has yet to call back. Thanks a lot. I suppose my problem isn't high profile enough to be considered noteworthy.

This review is based on bad experiences with the front office. But it reflects badly on the doctor. After a recommendation for surgery we were seeking a second opinion. The front office(and probably the doctor) dint like the fact that we dint proceed with Dr Anker for surgery. Not sure what is driving this.. Money or Ego. What do you do when a brain surgeon does not want you to get a second opinion? Walk ... no .. Run for your life!
