List of Antoine E. Khoury's Reviews
I knew something was wrong with my son and started searching for a child urologist in my area of the inland empire. Everyone in my area was either not accepting new patients, not taking our insurance, not seeing children at all, or had terrible reviews online. So I searched far and wide and stumbled onto Chocs hospital in orange where Dr. Khoury is the main child urologist there. I wasn't too fond of their over dramatic LA covid protocols, and the drive was far for us. But it was all well worth it. Dr. Khoury was stern but so sweet when dealing with my son. My son liked him and called him Dr khoury Carson (after the cartoon lol). He was very knowledgeable and was able to identify my sons communicating hydrocele upon our first visit. He had the ultrasound already scheduled for our first visit! He was clear and to the point. Everything he said to expect and explained was thorough and proven true. Surgery was spectacular and went right on schedule, just as expected and was performed roughly only a month out from the initial consultation. It was a very big deal for me especially my son having to be put under (hes 4)... but from the moment of our arrival, they took great care of my boy which eased my mind a little. My sons recovery was a breeze and his scars are fading to nothing. He is healed and clear of his hydrocele. Thank you Dr. Khoury!
Worst customer service
He charged us $729.00 for a 5 mins visit and his recommendation was to continue with what the pediatrician was recommended.

Excellent care, a good listener and obviously cares for his pautarnos.
Dr. Khoury was the third urologist we met in our search for the right doctor to take on my 8 month old daughter's case. We were having a hard time finding someone we could trust, but we were immediately at ease after meeting Dr. Khoury. Here are a few things that made him stand out from other pediatric urolgoists:1. He didn't rush us. He took his time explaining her condition and it was evident that he had taken the time to study her case prior to talking to us. We had a situation where a urologist jumped into conclusions without thoroughly looking at her ultrasounds and VCUG.2. He thinks of the patient as a whole. We had a urologist at another children's hospital who kept dismissing her infections and would say things such as "I just focus on the kidneys. I'll refer you to another specialist" whenever we brought up concerns. Dr. Khoury proactively asked questions to better understand how she was really doing. He identified patterns in her medical history and images provided and took action to look into that. What I realized is that just because a doctor has knowledge doesn't mean they will think critically. Dr. Khoury showed that critical thinking piece in every interaction we had.3. He was calm and confident, but not dismissive. He admitted that her case was complex but reminded us that they've had success with similar cases. The first urologist we had told us she would consult other urologists for their opinion if the case got "complicated." At that time we had been hospitalized following a surgery she had performed, so we were floored that she didn't feel it necessary to get a second opinion. We ended up paying to start consulting with out of network urologists after that comment.4. He looked at my daughter in the eyes and said hello to her. I know she was only 8 months, so it's not like she understood much, but the other urologists hardly acknowledged her presence (other than physically examining her). To me, Dr Khoury addressing her communicated that he saw her as a person, not just another case.5. He was accessible. We spoke to him 3 times during the course of her actual surgery, which lasted close to 9 hours. He got on the phone with us to share updates, which made the world of a difference to hear from him directly. His nurses also called us a few additional times to provide updates.6. He has the BEST fellow doctor working with him. Dr. Huen has been our point of contact post surgery. She is competent, caring, and has incredible follow through. It's clear that Dr. Khoury is a great mentor and boss, which gives you confidence in his entire team. And last but not least, he's a funny guy. On the rare occasion that he cracks a joke, it will actually be funny. 🙂After searching Southern California for the right pediatric urologist, I am sure our daughter couldn't have been in better hands.

My 3 year old son had a surgical procedure done by Dr Khoury and his entire team and everyone at CHOC were completely amazing!!As my husband and I checked my son into the receptionist on the first floor my husband unfortunately fell to the floor in pain from what we now know to be kidney stones!Worst situation to be in ever!My husband was quickly taken to ER and my son was now off to have his surgery!I couldn’t have felt more safe, relieved and over all better taken care of!I absolutely love this hospital and will never ever take my son anywhere else ever again!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
