Brainpower Wellness Institute's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Samir Hamid has been great in taking care of my anxiety disorder. I was diagnosed with this mental disability about 20 years ago. I’ve worked with many doctors to find the right medication that would decrease my panic attacks and anxiety. But these doctors have not been willing to change medications if I found them not to be working for me. So I have in turn suffered many years with very minimal support. Then I met Dr. Hamid and everything I tell him he listens and cares about me as I can see in the way that he responds to trying to fix my problems. We have tried a few different medication’s now and we finally found a combination that has been very affective for me. For once I have been able to feel calm and not have so much white noise going on in my head. I can actually hear the birds singing now. I have now recommended him to my cousin and have, other family members with anxiety disorder interested in seeking his help. It’s been a delight working with him. And I hope we have many more years together, working towards improving my quality of life.

Honestly I was hesitant to try Brainpower Wellness institute mainly because of insurance concerns, and I have been bounce backed from therapist to therapist. Getting a psychiatrist to help me was the best decision I made. The staff was AMAZING at getting back to me with any questions I had, very kind and attentive. Honestly a great experience.

First time consultation was amazing. Samir was empathetic, a great listener, and developed a personal plan for me for my mental health journey.

Dr Zamil, part of this institute is just AMAZING! Just go talk to him for therapy and psychiatry needs. Brainpower has been good in terms of the portal, payments, scheduling, etc., I wish there was a centralized portal to access appointments, messaging and what not. I'm sure it's in the works or will be.

This doctor promised that they could help me, and then all of a sudden they could not. Even after receiving a letter of recommendation from my doctor they are liars, and they are frauds, and they wasted my time. Do not go to this place. All they do is lie.

The Brainpower Wellness Institute Team was extremely helpful and I am very satisfied with my visit.

I've dealt with a lot of these places and I finally found this one has everything I needed to get help. Thankful I was connected to Brittney and thankful the office staff is helpful and kind enough to deal with me and my insurance issues. Thank you to everyone there

Dr. Samir Hamed is amazing. I've been to another psychiatrist in the past who was impersonal and disconnected throughout my whole visit, including when she gave me a diagnosis. Afterwards I didn't fully associate my symptoms with that diagnosis because of how casually it was delivered, so I didn't seek specific treatment until my first visit with Dr. Hamed. He was really welcoming, professional, and good at asking the right questions. After giving me a diagnosis and explaining what it meant, he went through each of my treatment options, answered my questions, supported my decision, and has been great at scheduling times to check in since I started my chosen option. I highly recommend him and BWI!

The office staff is very competent and fast to respond. I found Dr Aguis to be thoroughly professional and very caring.
