Amazing! he took such great care of my 2 year old when she had to have surgery. Dr Weinert is the best
I take both my sons to Dr. Weinert due to excess bone growths. My 6 year old son had to have part of his bone removed on his arm this past November. Asked my son after surgery what was the scariest part and he said, nothing! Dr. Weinert is very gentle with young children. The stitches are healing nicely.
Was referred here for my sons ankle injury. Time spent in the exam room was minimal. Weinert commented that growth plates indicated that son was finished growing (son has since grown nearly an inch taller). Told us to freeze a bag of popcorn and put it on the ankle. My sons ankle is now worse, and we have chosen to seek out the services of a different physician.
Horrible experience at this doctors office. Rude and not helpful at all.
Dr Weinert treated my sons broken forearm. We were referred to him by the ER staff at Anaheim Regional Medical Center. The first cast broke. Never in my life had I seen that before. The second was taken off too soon. Im no dr but I questioned the Xray as I felt it was too soon to be removed. I was given some explanation and reluctantly, trusted what I was told. My son was then given a brace that did not support the area of the break. Later, I learned that brace was for a wrist injury. About 23 weeks went by. My son was casually lifting himself off of the floor and his arm snapped. Broken again, resulting in surgery which included titanium plates and bone grafts. He has an EXCELLENT dr now and is recovering well, but this couldve been prevented had he been treated properly to begin with. So $4000 later......Here we are. Please consider a second opinion, always.
Urgent care diagnosed my child with a bowing of her midshaft radius (ie common type of fracture when she fell). They cast her up in a temporary cast and told us to go to an orthopedist. Our pediatrician recomment Dr. Weinert. Dr. Weinert disagreed with the diagnosis and took the time to get a skeleton arm to explain the anatomy and took the time to explain why he disagreed. I was ready for a cast or brace, but walked away with a happy child, and comfort knowing why he was confident we didnt need any brace/cast.
He did surgery on my 4 year old for trigger finger the surgery went well super quick and he answered all of our questions and walked us through everything. Choc hospital was also amazing
He treated my son for bilateral club feet since my son was about a week old and now going on 2 and continues to follow up every couple months. Hes very patient and has a pleasant attitude. Out of the two offices weve been to the Irvine location is by far the best. The girl at the front desk is super nice and very professional and so is the tall lady with short hair who assists the doctor. Good job ladies!
Nine years ago my eight-year-old son broke his femur and Dr. Weinert did the surgery to repair it. He was kind and funny with my son, putting us all at ease. Six months later he performed the second surgery to remove the pins and gave my son some exercises to get rid of the limp he had, which worked. I love this doctor!Flash forward eight years and the same son falls 25 feet while on vacation, breaking the same femur (and lucky to be alive and walking at all!) Dr. Weinert provided us all of the aftercare once we returned to the US. Having the x-ray rooms on-site is very convenient and the techs are funny, keeping everyone relaxed. Not only did Dr. Weinert remember us from so many years earlier, he gave us the same positive, humorous approach that made my son comfortable. I highly recommend him!
Dr. Weinert did surgery on my oldest sons pinkie. I highly recommend him. Its a rarity to find both the doctor and staff pleasant, professional and helpful. Adaliz worked with our schedule to get our son into surgery as our high school sons schedule has little time during certain sports seasons. Thankfully, there was an opening at the facility we wanted and the doctors schedule was also open at that time. Dr. Weinert was quick to give us updates and results after the surgery, by appointment and by phone. The rest of the staff was helpful as well. Thanks for making what could have been a difficult time easier!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
