List of Charles E. Keller's Reviews
Very polite. Explains well. He did the surgery on both eyes for cataracts and lenses. Excellent follow up post surgery and post exam. very happy with results. Highly recommended and I have already done so with a few friends.
My first red flag should have been when I called for an appt. and was given one for the next day. I spent over 3 hrs. at the office and 5 minutes with Dr. Keller. I found him to be arrogant and self-serving--talking down to me. I am not a dolt or a dotard. I have been calling every day since to be sure I am OFF his list. The one star above is generous.
I was diagnosed with shingles in the head involving the eye . they asked me to have a good Ophthalmology Doctor to deal with this dangerous situation as soon as possible .Doctor Charles Keller was packed with patients but with his sense of humanity he asked me to come directly to the clinic and i can say that this fast move saved my eye . He replaced some of my medicines and eye drops and i felt the difference .My advice is let him speak without interruption because he will cover all your questions in your mind .Doctor and staffs are very professional .Highly recommended .
Just finished my 2nd eye cataract surgery and very successful. Great job and thanks Dr. Keller
My 30 year old daughter went in for bilateral proptosis. He offered no reason/diagnosis of the underlying condition, nor treatment, nor referral, or what to look for or expect in the future. He just kept shrugging his shoulders. Perhaps he is more adept in older patients with glaucoma or cataracts...judging by the look of his waiting room. If you’re looking for a doctor with empathy or heart, keep looking.
I have seen Dr Keller for a few years but had a negative experience today. Waited 1 hour before being seated in an examination room where I waited another 30 minutes. The assistants were good about performing some tests beforehand. It was never mentioned that the doctor was running behind schedule. The long wait was unacceptable so I left after stating my reason, without seeing the doctor. Overbooking patients for the sake of volume should never supercede quality of patient care. I will be consulting a different ophthalmologist in the future. I felt my time and effort was not valued.
Very caring doctor who takes time in explaining diseases and procedures. Very professional, polite and treats patients with dignity. Very willing to spend time with you and answer all your questions and possible alternatives.
I have gone to Dr. Keller since he took over the practice from my former opthalmologist many years ago. My husband and some of my friends do not care for him as he has a clipped way of speaking--not folksy. I have found that he needs time to think before he is ready to answer questions and I respect that. He has some new staff people since his office move and I can't comment on them at this point but I do think they are trying very hard to do a good job.It was very difficult when the doctor was ill for an extended period of time but is in seemingly good health now.
Staff not helpful and felt rushed. Dr.not answering my questions.staff not knowledgeable when asked a question you get a answer but when you read up on the subject you find out the answer was wrong maybe they are rushing to get as many patients in a short time rather than actual patient care.
I felt that Dr. Keller did not listen to me very well and he seemed to dismiss what I was trying to say.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
