Dr. Yomtoob is a subpar physician who performed a vitreoectomy on my mother who was losing eye pressure during a cataract removal and lens replacement surgery. He didn't throughly explain the procedure beforehand and he rushes patients in and out during outpatient surgery at the St. Joseph Pavillion.

I could NOT be happier with my results. I had seen another Dr. In Long Beach but wadn’t happy. Some friends referred me to Dr. Yomtoob. I am EXTREMELY nearsighted and was a challenge. I’m 76 but still work full-time so need great near vision. He recommended the premium IOL’s which are expensive but ended up giving me excellent near vision ( computer and text) plus great distance vision. The procedure is super quick and his staff and the staff at Pavilion were the best. It was fun! Go for the premium lenses if you can. Worth every dime!

Doctor may be good. Visited him only once. But office staff are quite rude and don't follow up. One eye (allergy med drops) prescription that was given is not covered by insurance. Rite aid and I (three times) are trying desperately to get an alternate one for the past 15 days. No luck so far. Staff does not even care. Today (4/21/21) one person says, I can get sample from the office (they could have given me on the day I saw him 15 days ago). Not going to go back.

Dr. Yomtoob and his staff are second to none. I don’t trust many doctors but I’ve been with him for years, including surgeries, with outstanding results.

Very thorough and explained everything he did very well and easy to understand. He did extra tests on me as my parents have macular degeneration. I found him very pleasant and eager to answer all my questions I will go to him for the rest of my life and I will suggest others to do so.

Dr. Yomtoob is the best Glaucoma Specialist I’ve have had since been a patient for the time I was diagnosed with glaucoma. He spends quality time with each patient. I am very blessed to have him as a Doctor. The staff is very friendly, patient, positive and is a reflection of Dr. Tomtoob’s work ethnics. I would highly recommend this doctor and his office staff.

I feel Dr. Yomtoob is very compassionate and caring. His approach is practical and he does look after your concerns well. I am having a bad result from Lasik surgery in which the initial surgeon suggested an enhancement, but Dr. Yomtoob recommended otherwise. I am loosing my vision still as my codition is worsening, Dr. Yomtoob is closely monitoring it and doing his best.

I've been seeing Dr. Yomtoob for many years to treat me for borderline glaucoma. The doctor stays on top of my care and is very friendly and personable. He always answers any of my questions and talks in layman's terms about his diagnosis and treatment alternatives. I trust him and also have my wife and children visiting him when they have issues with their vision.
