Duke Hasson's Online Review Report Card

For over two years, I thought I could work my way through a constant pain in my left hip that literally made every step a painful one.   Finally, when I decided to do the hip replacement surgery I researched the process and potential surgeons.  Dr. Hasson was the third doctor I met and I knew instantly he was the best choice.  I made this decision on the basis that he specialized in an arthroscopic procedure which promised to be easier to recover (vs. posterior procedure that cut the muscles instead).  I was equally impressed with Dr. Hasson's commitment to utilizing the most advanced robotics in the surgery room.  Dr. Hasson's team was also extremely helpful and professional and helped me navigate through the pre-approval process with the insurance companies.  On the day, the surgery couldn't have gone better and I could have walked out of the hospital if they would have let me.  I took ten days to recover and was walking without a cane or a walker in two weeks.   Tomorrow I go for my final meeting with Dr. Hasson three months later and am completed void of any pain or discomfort.   I cannot recommend Dr. Hasson with more conviction and am extremely grateful to have chosen him for the procedure.THANK YOU!!!!Tom Keefer (aged 64)

From the first meeting, to my surgery date, to my 12 week check up, Dr Hasson was extremely accurate as to what I would be going thru. The pain was gone from the hip that afternoon, after the surgery. My therapy and recovery was exactly what I was told it would be. Awesome talented surgeon with empathy with his patients

Dr. Duke Hasson did a full knee replacement on me in August 2021, and then a replaced the other knee in November 2021. I love this doc because he uses robotics and I'm all about technology. I'm a male athlete in his 50s. This is the first time I've ever seen my legs so straight. The surgery wasn't too bad, but the recovery was brutal. I respect Dr. Hasson because he is very transparent and tries to prepare his patient for the recovery. He is the first surgeon I've ever been to that gave me a booklet full of every detail to help me from pre-op to surgery to post-op... expectations, medications, PT, phone numbers, exercises, etc. Dr. Hasson has a very strict process and if you follow his direction, you'll be happy with the results. He has an excellent bedside manner, is confident, kind and very passionate about his work. His team, Alyssa and Mari, are professional, helpful, caring and have great communication. My wife called or emailed them multiple times with concerns during my two recoveries, and they always got back to her within hours. I highly recommend Dr. Hasson to anyone considering knee surgery or just having knee pain. I'm so grateful to him for fixing me.

I had my right hip replaced by Dr. Hasson on Oct 27, 2021. Dr. Hasson is a top notch surgeon. He explained in advance the procedure that would be used, the time it would take and the recovery period after surgery. The surgery went exactly as planned. My surgery occurred at 6 am in the morning and was over in less than 2 hours. I was walking with the aid of walker by 10 am and was discharged by 10:30 am. I could not be more please. I give Dr. Hasson and his friendly responsive staff my highest recommendation.

Dr. Duke rocks! I had knee replacement surgery 6 weeks ago and I feel great. He is a focused precise surgeon and his goal is to get you out of pain. Like so many other surgeons he doesnt push surgery on you he gives you options. He has a direct approach with you which I like & he let's you know it will be challenging for a short time but it's so worth it. Remember to do your daily exercises after surgery and after a few weeks you will wonder why you didnt do the surgery earlier. A nice bonus, I've lost over an inch in my hips from the knee & hip exercises. Feels so good to be out of pain, such a blessing.Doc is really good to his staff and it shows. He looks healthy and fit which I want in a surgeon. He works smart and doesnt overbook himself so I barely wait ten minutes to see him. That is ideal for a patient who is in pain. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Hasson, thanks to him I can dance again!

I was referred to Dr. Duke Hasson, an orthopaedic surgeon at the Restore Orthopaedics and Spine Center in Orange, during the summer of 2019. Upon my first visit with Dr. Hasson, he conducted a mobility examination and explained what my x-rays revealed. He took the time to answer my questions, offered his diagnosis and recommended treatment. I understood that Dr. Hasson utilized robotic assisted technology to perform replacement surgery which added to my confidence that his care would be first-rate. Post-operation, I was using a walker. Approximately one week later I was walking with a cane, and I was walking unassisted relatively shortly thereafter with physical therapy. Though I had been through major surgery, I found that I did not need the Tramadol or Oxycodone prescribed for my recovery, though the lesser pain medications he approved were much appreciated. Dr. Hasson achieved perfect hip alignment. I am walking easily and smoothly today. Needless to say, he has changed my life and made it better. I highly recommend Dr. Hasson for his expertise, knowledge, and care.

Hands down the best Ortho I have dealt with, great manner and very knowledgeable about my situation, both knees replaced but still swelling, drained with almost zero pain and sent me on my way. Highly recommend

Dr. Hasson is excellent. Professional, but also easy to talk to and ask questions. Alyssa was very patient with all my questions and concerns. Everyone in his office was pleasant. Sorry I can't remember everyones name. Also, Mari, who helped with the set of surgery was very patient with all my phone calls. Overall, it has been a wonderful experience. I would recommend Dr. Hasson to all my friends. It was truly a easy and pleasant experience.

I was taken to a hospital regarding a fall at work which resulted in a broken hip. I literally thanked my stars a million times that Dr. Hasson was there that day. Being the first time I broke bones and not understanding the severity of my injury, Dr. Hasson spent a lot of time explaining the situation and the surgery he would preform. Hip surgery was a success of which I went back to him approx. a year later for a full knee replacement which was another successful surgery. His professionalism, medical knowledge and obvious love of his work is outstanding. Once you meet him you are completely at ease and know you are in excellent hands. I have referred him many times and even my PT has referred him to her patients from seeing the work he did on my knee. Dr. Hasson and his staff are beyond 5 stars. I so highly recommend them that if you are considering surgery you need to call him. Thank you.
