List of Edward M. Uchio's Reviews
The best Dr Uchio is a wonderful surgeon and a good honest person that make you feel comfortable you know he cares about you when you are in direct contact with him no doubt a person top in his field
Doctor Uchio explains everything ‘in layman’s terms so the average patient can understand fully their condition. Great bedside manner. We discussed my main issue- BPH and some possible side issues so Doctor Uchio ordered some testing to further evaluate the matter. He is very thorough. We discussed my PAE which has been very successful in alleviating my previous serious prostate condition . He is a team player who worked closely with an Interventional Radiologist to make my PAE a great success. It has changed my life for the best.
When the doc asks a male patient about erection , the female nurse should step out.
Overall a good experience
If the UCI administration was 30% as patient efficient, effective, and patient helpful it would be an improvement. Generally, an organization takes on the behavior of the senior resident person (dept. mgr., supervisor, etc.) No wonder we see so many "worker bees" talking about a strike.
Awesome and outstanding doctor and staff!
Excellent doctor taking care me
Great overall experience by a caring Dr. and staff.
Very easy process. Competent staff at all levels.
Dr Uchio and his team are the best! Thank you. There is no one I would rather have treat me. Only concern is that our goals are not quite aligned. My #1 goal is for clotting & bleeding to stop. There is no current plan that I am aware of to help me and treat this? May be I missed it. Current focus is on improving left kidney function and surgery to replace stent. Meanwhile, I am still passing clots every single day with no hope or plan in place.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
