List of Gaby T. Thai's Reviews
Dr. Thai is an outstanding physician who always has my health and progress her priority. She asks pertinent questions and provides follow up . She takes the time needed to make me feel comfortable..
My mother loves her, because she will call me at home to make sure that I'm doing what I should be doing. Tells you exactly how it is, but sometimes I want her to lie. She's one-of-a-kind, I have seen other doctors.
Dr Thai diagnosed me with MS. I see why people say she’s “stern” but really she’s just straight to the point, gives you difinitive answers, and doesn’t try to butter up what she’s saying. When it comes to medical discussion, thats exactly what you want. No nonsense answers and knowledge. And I actually thought she was a perfectly nice and caring to boot. I am confident with her treatment plan and so thankful for her.
Outstanding, extremely knowledgeable, takes her time with patients. Answers questions clearly.
Stay far away from this doctor. Bad attitude, and lack of professionalism. Rude.
First time seeing Dr. Thai. My experience during this initial visit was very pleasant. She was very attentive to my issues. Asked many questions and listened to all of mine. She documented everything that was said and was very thorough. She also took as much time that was needed and didn't rush through the appointment. Dr. Thai also has a great personality.
She does not explain anything. Vague answers with poor beside manners. She actually started ignoring some of my questions. I often had to ask, is that a yes or no? Some advicewhen talking to your patients, it may be wise to stop typing and have some eye contact with them!
Did not like her bedside manner or followup. Felt terrible visiting this doctor. Not a good experience, Curt and no detail on followup
Really unprofessional, and disrespectful, she didnt address patients health issue at all.
The office staff was good and I was seen by the doctor in no time. The doctor though, started off by referring me to another doctor even before she understood what my problem is. This is the same experience I had with 2 more doctors in UCI medical center in Irvine. They only seem to be interested in taking tests with no hypothesis as to what they were testing for, and to keep referring to people within the building, without what felt like much thought.Coming back to Dr. Thai, as soon as I went there even before she asked me about why I was there, she rudely said You dont seem to want to accept the diagnosis.... Since I had not got any diagnosis on the matter from any of the doctors I visited in UCI, I asked what the diagnosis was. To that she fumbled and said body pain...! She repeated it and tried to justify why that was correct. I am sure after an MRI, all kinds of blood tests, ophthalmology tests (all which came back normal) and suffering from dizziness and body pain and losing peripheral vision for a few minutes. The diagnosis is body pain and she is referring me to a ophthaneurologist for it!Problem is that all doctors in this building are so specialized they are unable to look at the complete picture. Or just do not want to look at the complete picture. So here I am 3 months after my first episode of losing peripheral vision and suffering dizziness and body pain and spending $3000, with no diagnosis or treatment.I highly urge people to keep away from UCI and especially Dr. Gaby Thai

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
