Haleh Safavi's Online Review Report Card

The doctor is no longer accepting Cal Optima recipients. The staff is unwilling to help people without the right insurance. I had a negative experience making phone calls to the office today. Staff wouldn't explain the process of getting her care through St. Joseph's Affiliated Physicians. I never got to see the doctor so this is mostly commentary on Providence advertising that their doctors are taking Cal Optima patients when they're not. I changed providers because I wasn't about to do more work to get treated like this.

She's treats my uncle and has treated my aunt. She's very caring and compassionate and is on top of the overall health . I recommend if you want a world class doctor that can actually help extend the life of your loved ones go to her asap If I could give her 6 stars I would

Among the physicians that I’ve been seeing in last 10 years, she is one of the best in manner and diagnosis.

This doctor is only in the office Tuesday and Thursday with no backup doctor for an emergency. Does not return phone calls from the hospital if you’re admitted to a hospital or for aftercare. Staff is horrendous. On two separate occasions they failed to send authorizations for one condition and after two years I knew it wouldn’t be treated if I stayed with this dr. They will not notify you when authorizations are approved, nor help you find specialists. After being admitted to the hospital twice and suffering for weeks after I had to switch doctors during an emergency situation to get the help I needed. I ignored the reviews online and I regret it. Sadly, this doctor is still accepting patients, yet doesn’t provide care to existing patients. If you want to go to the urgent care when you are sick and play Russian roulette in an emergency (or pray nothing ever happens to you), than this is your doctor. Otherwise, run. I’ve never had to review a doctor, until now.

Dr. Safavi has a sweet demeanor and she takes the time to listen. I never feel rushed when I have an appointment with her. I trust her knowledge and care.

This doctor is an arrogant, rude and disrespectful person who belittled me in from of her nurse by telling me to use my brain to do what she believes is right with my own body, life and moral belifes. She should me fired for her inability to respect a persons belifes and choices with dignity. I will never set foot in her office again. She is a bitter women with a god-like complex who has big problems to treat a human person like that. I will make sure that many will know of her terrible personality and mouth and never go to her. May God have mercy on her inappropriate way of dealing with human beings.

I felt lucky to have Dr Haleh Safavi as my physician. She took her time and reviewed and explained all my lab results. She is highly knowledgeable, very compassionate and could motivate me in a very pleasant way how to take better care of my diabetes. I am very happy to be one her patients.

For the last 3 years she has been my primary doctor. She is very caring and knowledgeable. Has me on good regimen of medicine and for the last 3 years that I treat with her finally my blood sugar and blood pressure is well controlled. Im very happy with her and her staff.
