List of Lawrence M. Ehrlich's Reviews
Dr. Ehrlich and staff are outstanding. I've yet to find a doctor and office as good as them in Texas. I fly back for visits and communicate via email. They are always responsive and helpful.
updated review I reviewed Dr. Ehrlich several years ago and just want to update my review and say he is absolutely the best doctor in every regard! He checks every box, fromhis caring compassionate manner to his excellent medical diagnosis and treatment. It’s an honor to have himas my doctor.
Be careful! They took blood in the office from my husband and sent it to the lab for testing without checking to see if the insurance would cover it. Now I'm stuck paying a $1,000.00 bill. My husband had a common flu and was at the office for a routine yearly exam which happened to fall on the same day so we kept the appointment. This test was NOT necessary and they never asked us if we wanted the test. My insurance co denied the claim saying it was "expiermental". I've tried disputing the claim but after a year the insurance co is still denying it. Check any and all test with your insurance first. The office should have done this or asked me to do it. In my opinion, this is very unethical.
Appointment please Dr I would like to see you again
Always a pleasant experience. Dr Ehrlich and staff use levity as a great icebreaker that is much needed in the medical field. Not to mention the great tunes in the background. Makes waiting tolerable. I suggest this office for anyone looking for valuable health advice and treatment!
If I could rate this office zero stars - I would. First off, staff loves to spend free time gossiping loud when patient's room doors are open instead of tending to said patient. The office is cluttered and dirty. They are supposedly "renovating" but it just looks like a hoarder's house with stacks of paperwork and household items everywhere. Secondly and most importantly, I received a bill from the doctor's office totaling $415 for a physical and yearly exam when this is completely covered under my PPO insurance. I have tried calling the office and I was referred to a "third party" biller who is allegedly on the east coast but has a (951) number. Makes no sense. I have been trying to call her for three weeks now and nothing. Left voicemails with no return call or anything. Then when I call the office to get someone else or figure this issue out internally, the line conveniently goes straight to voicemail stating the office is "currently closed" when it is during THEIR POSTED business hours. Ended up calling my insurance provider and the representative states the doctor is clearly overcharging/charging whatever he wants to double dip because that $415 charge is not owed to him. Insurance had already paid him and covered all necessary expenses. Will never come back here. Do not recommend at all. Do not get scammed out of your money for shitty patient care. Go elsewhere - where they actually have your best interest and health in mind.
It all went well. Dr. Is easy to talk to, explained where you could understand. Got right back with lab results. Hope the journey continues this way. 5 stars!
Just wow is all I can say. Not sure what's going on with the staff, but boy have they gone downhill. I've had constant issues getting my prescriptions filled in a timely manner, and they always blame either the pharmacy service or said their computer system was hacked. I called again today and Dr. Ehrlich answered and was so condescending it was ridiculous then he actually hung up on me as I was in the middle of talking. My suggestion is to go elsewhere.
Dr. Ehrlich is AMAZING Doctor, my kids love him. He is patience, smart and great listener. He really cares about you. I totally recommend him. He is great with kids and also adults. Great personality. And everybody in the office is fantastic, polite and friendly.
I was a patient of dr ehrlich for several years. During this time period I received the same office visits, with the same treatment, over and over again. There was minor improvement. When I stopped scheduling appointments, I received an email from dr ehrlich stating i was overdue for my physical. When I mentioned I had not scheduled any appointments because I was not happy with the results from the same therapy over and over again, he did not ask what the issues were, or mention there may be another form of therapy to try. He immediately responded asking me where to forward my medical records. Not a care or concern of how we could have tried another form of therapy, or how his care could be improved, or what the issues may be. Basically I wasted several years attempting to build better health under his care and guidance. I should also mention that there was one occasion (that I know of) where I caught them attempting to overcharge me a $600 dollar copay. Of course they denied knowing anything about it because they conveniently use a third party billing company. It took me getting my healthcare rep involved before they would finally admit they overcharged me.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
