List of Llanyee Liwanpo's Reviews
Dr. Liwanpo is very good and took the time to go over my lab results and recommended the best care. Yes she has many patients. She even responds to emails in a day or two.
My appointment has been changed twice. Now, I am told I can't be seen for 45+ days. I am not a happy camper.
She’s not a very caring doctor. She has too many patients and will not take the time to understand your health. She will just look at tests results and pump out medicine. She inherited patients from a doctor who retired so it’s not like people love her so they go to her. I’ll be looking for another endocrinologist who has actual time for her patients.
Dr. Liwanpo is busy. If you have a simple case, she's a fine doctor. I've been seeing her for 1 year and no clear diagnosis. Sees me every 6 months now. Lab results come back and I never receive any calls to go over test inconsistencies. I went off my meds, called her twice to let her know, didn't get a single call back. After a year of no clear answer to my symptoms, she tells me it might not be endocrinology related, and that I should go back to my primary and tell her my symptoms. I expressed my frustration, and desire to expand the tests to find more data, imaging specifically, and she responds with, "I only practice science based medicine". Overall, if you have an easily explained illness, she's great, will listen to you. Send you to a nutritionist, make general recommendations. If you are like me and your tests are up one day and down another, you've made drastic changes to your lifestyle and you still have debilitating symptoms, find another person, and recommend them to me. Unfortunately, my condition prevents me from driving far, and and so I continue this slow treatment option. To be fair, During a panic attack last year during Thanksgiving; I also ran out of medication which made it worse. I had the pharmacy call her office and she actually called me back, on Thanksgiving Day. She's a bit inconsistent, overall competent, but if you're a high maintenance patient that likely requires a team, you're bound to be kept waiting a bit longer.
Dr. Liwampo is a very professional, patient, and thorough doctor. The office staff (Alicia) is efficient, supportive and caring. Excellent medical care and highly recommend to anyone with Diabetes.
I found Dr. Liwanpo to be a little sterile at first but she was very skilled at the procedure and checked in with me several times during the procedure to see that I was OK. Pleasant enough personality and, after all, what we really need is an expert in their field of medicine. I believe she is. I would recommend her.
wonderful comprehensive and caring physician
A new patient seen at the last minute, I found her to be direct and thorough. I was not rushed and she actually listened to me. She's very responsive through the St. Joseph portal. She's obviously very astute and, I felt, genuinely concerned with helping you.
I have been for years Dr. Liwanpo's patient. She is a a sharp, knowledgeable doctor who cares. She has been very efficient and I trust her completely.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
