For a very bright, very skilled, very highly regarded physician, Dr. Kobayashi is about as down to earth as they come. And fun. I knew I would be in the best of hands under his care (a complex post-mastectomy reconstruction), but I never expected to look forward to my appointments. If another physician has referred you to Dr. K, thank them. If a friend has, hug them.

It was not a good experience. After I let Dr Mark Kobayashi operate on me, I had to have follow up surgeries to correct what he did!

Dr. Kobayashi is by far the best plastic surgeon (or any surgeon) I have seen. He is a true professional and works hard to please his patient. And what a wonderful bedside manner! He is so kind, honest and reassuring. The doctor does not push the patient into anything and makes sure you are doing exactly what you want, after all it’s a big decision. He is a very skilled doctor and there is no one I would trust more under the knife.

I’ve known Dr Kobayashi on a personal and professional level since 1993. I had the pleasure of being his student as a resident in both general surgery and plastic surgery. During my 13 years of medical training I can unequivocally say that Mark Kobayashi is the most talented surgeon of all surgeons I’ve ever worked with. Not only does Dr Kobayashi have superhuman technical skills but is also one of the most caring and compassionate people I know. I have also been a patient of Dr Kobayashi and would give him my highest recommendation without reservations.Dr Kobayashi is and will always be my greatest hero.

I would Not recommend Dr. Kobayashi. Though he was nice at first, after this procedure he left horrible scars.
