I experienced his work during his tenure at Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland AFB There he was known by his colleagues as “The smartest man in the world” He put in an abdominal aortic bypass and took out an aneurism as well . there was also a lot of other little thing he did as well He had a terrific bedside manner and absolute confidence in his abilities.

He performed emergency surgery on my artery to my hand when it was severed by my orthopedic surgeon repairing a tendon. He is highly skilled and a compassionate doctor. He explained everything he did and how to recover from my injury.

Dr Fujitani is a skillful surgeon who really cares about his patients. I know because I was one of them. He saved my life. No exaggeration, he took good care of me when blood flow to my intestines suddenly had clotted off. I would have died if I were not treated right away. I am forever grateful. Even months later, he continues to check on me to be sure that I am doing well. I have great respect for this wonderful doctor. I have learned that he is so very kind and compassionate with a genuine heart of gold. I can never thank him and his surgical crew enough for what they did for me. I was lucky, very lucky to have him take care of me.

Dr. Fujitani operated on my husband last year, and he saved his life. We will forever be grateful to this wonderful surgeon and his expertise. We did not know him, until our visit to the VA hsp. to go over my husband's ultra sound results and I feel that GOD answered my prayers that day. We felt hopeless when every other surgeon had given up on my husband's leg and said it needed to be amputated. Our last hope referral to Dr. Fujitani was a godsend since he offered us hope and was able to save his leg! Wow, he is just the nicest doctor who spent so much time explaining our options and made us feel so comfortable. My husband is walking again on his two feet, thanks to Dr. Fujitani and his awesome team of people. When we were in his clinic waiting room everyone was chattering what a wonderful doctor and person he is. Now we know that it's true. 5+ stars for sure!
