My daughter had issues with her vision, so our pediatrician referred us to Dr. Whang. She has been very thorough with her examinations, and my daughter enjoys her visits with Dr. Whang. The office building went through some extensive renovations during 2022, and the building is now looking pretty great. UPDATE: We did have some hiccup with scheduling and insurance, but Dr. Whang personally called us to clear up any misunderstanding. You don't get a lot of personal service like that these days, so we really appreciate her both as a doctor and as a fellow human.

Dr. Whang truly cares for her patients as if they were family. If anyone's child needs eye care, SHE is your Go-TO! Run, don't walk... she is busy! Dr. Whang, You are making an impact. Thank you for being the kind of person, doctor and professional that you are!

Dr. Whang recently examined my daughter May 2022. She was AMAZING! Very thorough on exam and explaining everything to me, addressing my concerns and questions, and taking her time. I, myself, work at CHOC Childrens Hospital and have to say, her bedside manner with kids is beyond what I have ever seen. The office itself is a little dated, but super clean and does the job. She is amazing! Do not hesitate to bring your child to her!

It would very easy for to include PD (pupillary distance) in the prescription, but she refuses to write, no explanation other than 'we don't do that', meaning we have to haul our daughter again to an optician to measure that.

Dr. Whang was the most patient, kind, knowledgeable optometrist we ever could’ve hoped for. She immediately made my daughter feel comfortable which was huge. The ladies that helped up get in same day we’re so sweet & understanding. Highly recommend Dr. Whang to anyone! My 6 year old says she’s “the best doctor ever!”

We had an awesome experience with Dr. Whang and the reception staff. The doctor was very nice and patient, and explained everything in detail. Would definitely recommend her to others!

Dr. Whang is AMAZING! She was so patient and kind to my daughter who injured her left eye by getting glitter in it. She was so warm and welcoming to us. She ran all sorts of tests on her eye & thankfully her eye healed 100%. I highly recommend Dr. Whang and her staff, they are absolutely delightful. The girls that answered my call were so understanding & were able to get my daughter in the day we called. Everyone in the office are wonderful!

I have been taking my son here for 5 yrs, never had a bad experience. The Dr is very kind and attentive. The wait time to be seen is usually minimal. I drive from Corona for my son to see Dr Whang.
