It should not take an hour to get through to make an appointment this is ridiculous You need to get a better answering service these girls are probably lazy messing around on there phone's cuz no way in hell it should take an hour to get in touch to make an appointment

Dr. Tackson Tam has been our family physician for nearly 20 years and has never disappointed us. His concerned, but friendly, manner has always addressed our concerns and we have always left feeling better than when we arrived. He is a rare gem and we are grateful to recommend him to everyone.

Went in for an annual physical and Dr. Tam earlier this year which is covered by my PPO. During my visit I showed him a concern I had and he was dismissive and seemed not to know what I was so concerned about. During the physical he conducted an EKG. Later I was billed for the EKG and when I asked my insurance company why I was being billed they told me Dr. Tam billed it separately from the annual physical. I had to call his office and have them resubmit it but they refused to say it was a part of the annual physical. My insurance ended up paying a portion but I'm still stuck with a bill I did not expect.

I’ve been to many doctors, but Dr. Tam is one of the worst yet. Horrible bedside manner wherein he barely acknowledged me, had no idea what some of the medical terms were in my records (seriously?!), failed to review my MRI & St. Joseph’s patient stay & discharge notes (see an ENT & Neurologist right away), did not examine me & wanted to send me to a physical therapy without a diagnosis as to what’s causing my symptoms (two hospital stays later). I had to switch doctors. Front office seemed awesome on the phone... In person, they told me wait times for appointments were months out & go to urgent care or the ER if I had any problems. Dr. Tam basically acted as middle man for insurance authorizations. If you want to feel dejected & hopeless when you’re already feeling horrible from an illness still yet to be named, go see him! I will not go back to this office. St. Joseph’s of Orange should be ashamed of some of the doctors they affiliate with & this coming from a native to OC.
