List of Thomas Kim's Reviews
Staff seems a bit confused and overwhelmed. Have only met Dr .Kim twice and have no real basis for comparing him to other cardiologists. Based on my experience trying to get prescriptions refilled, make appointments, prep for procedures, and talk to someone who understands my need, I gave the office a 1 star rating.
He takes the time to listen and explain.
Dr. Kim is SUPER knowledgeable AND is the first doctor I have met who actually LISTENS to everything you have to say without interrupting. (WOW...I didn't think that was possible) His staff answers my questions in an efficient manner and he CALLS me to address my concerns. FIVE STARS!
Dr Kim is an exceptional cardiologist. He takes whatever time needed to explain your treatment and situation. He has a phenomenal memory and acquaints himself thoroughly with your case history and treatment plan.
Had an appointment with Dr Kim was 6 minutes late due to traffic Etc was refused to be seen poor bedside manner in previous visits highly opinionated not a good doctor
The staff does not do their "paperwork" until the last minute. I had an angiogram scheduled more than a month in advance. They did not check to see if I needed prior authorization from my insurance company until the DAY before the procedure! It took 2 months to reschedule. Thank heavens I had no adverse consequences because of the delay. In another instance, I was scheduled to see the PA, no body asked to see if I had seen her before. They require a 30 min. appointment the first time you see her. AGAIN it was the day before they figured out I would need more time than they scheduled. The doctor must know his staff does things at the last minute.
Dr. Kim was very kind, competent, and thorough. He spent unhurried time with me, asked pertinent questions, and listened to all my answers. His staff was also very kind and competent and explained exactly what I needed to do before coming to my first appointment. My waiting time was minimal. I would definitely recommend Dr. Kim.
His staff does paperwork at the last minute. They did not check until the day before if I needed prior authorization for a procedure. It took 2 months to reschedule it-good thing I was ok until then. They also did not schedule me a long enough appointment the first time I saw the PA. Again it was the day before the appointment they figured that out. The doctor must be alright with the way his office is run.
Try getting an appointment with Dr. Thomas Kim! You will be dead before you get in to see him! They will give you an appointment with the PA who will still tell you need to see Dr. Kim which makes no sense at all. The staff is rude and no fault of their own, they must be so frustrated with not being able to book an appointment within a reasonable time. Try getting a prescription refilled that a Joke. We are talking Cardiology here people! I would not give him a 1 unless I had too!
Best cardiologist I have ever been treated by. He was very knowledgeable and provided me with a clear course of treatment and a plan to improve my cardiac condition and get me back to an active lifestyle. When I called the staff they would relay messages in a timely manner so I would not feel ignored.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
