World class care....LOL. The doctors are 2nd rate at best especially in the neurological unit and especially when it comes to EPILEPSY. The care I have received there is horrible. BEFORE coming to University California of Idiots I had gone TEN YEARS without a seizure. in the last 3 years I've had FIVE. Why??? Because my previous Epitologist had retired. And in the past year my "Doctor" kept increasing my medication. I'm currently trying to work with her and maybe...lol she will listen to me for a change. But I doubt it because she's a pill pusher. 💊. I've had this illness for 44 years and I know more than she does. I've had it longer than most of the people who work there have been alive. Cross posted.

Kim Cherry, diagnosed 2011. Kim was diagnosed with the bulbar form of ALS and was given one year to live. His symptoms progressed quickly. Soon he was having difficulty breathing, swallowing and even walking short distances. With the help of several holistic medical practitioners and his wife Kay’s research he has been able to reverse most of his symptoms using diet, herbs, supplements and oxygen therapies including direct IV ozone, which he feels has made the most difference. Kim is playing golf again. He is now 69 and these herbs clinic( healthmedlabclinic1@gmail.com) help him recovered fully.

Care about your patients. My wife had to stop her meds (is currently off them). Then her doctor HAD to retire (understandable). Now she is off her meds and the "BEST" UCI can do is see her sometime in May of 2022. So all I can do is watch her decline as I look for another doctor to help her. Communication within the Neurology Group is terrible. The doctors assistant was telling my wife one thing while the doctor was telling her the exact opposite.....

What a joke they are so unorganized don’t tell you the truth lie for you to come into ER then tell you they don’t know if they can do specific things when you get In there they are all about making money typical.

Today I saw Dr. Courtney and her Neuro team. Amazing service from the time I walked in to the time I walked out. I wish I would have had them take over my care years ago. I am super impressed with her style and the amount of time she spent with me to team up for a new Tx plan for MS!

The organization setup is disconnected. With such a large staff of professionals and trainees I believe the patient becomes a third party to his or her medical issues. It appears the patient becomes the subject a training classes, each specialist team becomes a class for a team's narrow field of practice / speacily, as a patient trys to understand their problems and correction. It's almost as if a diagnosis must involve the input of the total summation of the teams majority resolve in a case. Although, there is a hierarchy system, care is delayed due to the simplest interruption. The patient at UCI IS THE TRAINING COURSE.

15 hours after being admitted, I am still waiting on a room. Been to hospitals in 9 countries over the years and this is the worst patient experience ever.
