Security guard Daniel had no patience and the residents or fellows who you see every time hate their patients and hate their job and take it out on patients. Everytime a fellow was insecure and disrespectful and did not convey the actual issue to the doctor. Delaying care for 8 months so far

Half the staff are apathetic of your issue (one surgeon was on his cell phone in the midst of the appointment). Case workers are close to non responsive. Avoid if possible

Appointment with Dr. HSU .buildibg 29A. Podiatrist surgeon. But because of me being on medical and authorization pending. I waited 4 hours. My name was called they took X-rays and was put into examining room nurse took blood pressure 190 over 130 nurse said something to front desk the rude front desk lady says he left he got mad and he left. The other nurse said he right here then the rude nurse says he's not going to pay. I got mad went to front desk and said whats your problem , I didn't leave I waited 5 hours I have cal optima here's,my card she took it did something and said I checked you in I went back to sit down waiting for someone to tell me what to do abd the rude front desk lady called hospital police saying she was threatened the doctor is not going to see me and now im detained. The head police reviews the video and said the front desk girls blew it up. And he did not hear or see any type of threat and said I can go. The doctor will not see you today after 6 hours waiting and some lady cop said I have to exit in the back door. Again being mistreated prejudice , discreminated,against. They asked me to leave knowing my blood pressure is 190 over 130. No concern for my well being or anyone else's I'm driving I have a heart attack and get in accident it would be there fault they should have recommended to go to emergency room but money is first with Dr. HSU and his office. I'm reporting to him to medical board. I have insurance. Cal Optima community network and he says he accepts that insurance but what he doesn't tell you is that himself and his staff will treat you like garbage because you have medical. They are manipulators, liars . What's the mission statement for UCI HOSPITAL. WHATEVER IT SAYS all lies. I'm sure I'm not the only person that has been mistreated by Dr. HSU and his staff. Even to be a doctor you agree to help people. You have medical you get no help. Those so called front desk employees won't help you. They will lie and waste your time. Dr. HSU. In not done with my complaints you should never ask anyone to leave with blood pressure 190 over 130. Your no doctor . Strictly business with you. Go jump in a lake Dr. HSU

UCI is amazing. Went to the ER not even sure what was wrong and they ended up saving my life that day! Every staff member from security to check in to triage to all the nurses, ultra sound tech, resident to attending Doctors, to anesthesia to recovery nurse and staff were kind and amazingly efficient and gentle with me through a very scary and sad day.

UCI Medical Center is the best Hospital/Medical organization in Southern California. I have had exceptional services from multiple departments in UCI, including Dermatology, Orthopedics, Primary Care, Urgent Care and Optometry. I’m so grateful for the doctors, nurses, medical assistants, and everyone on the medical team who serve us here as they are absolutely outstanding & top of the line. Especially Dr. Kenneth Linden, MD who is truly an angel in the medical field. I also had a great experience with Dr. Bryan Sun, MD who was so patient and thorough during exams. All the medical staff, including medical assistants such as Norma as well as student volunteers, were so efficient and prompt with follow-ups. Their facilities and buildings are clean and beautiful providing their patients with a calm, relaxing environment where we feel well taken care of. The medical team here are not only knowledgeable, they are so kind, compassionate, and hospitable. There’s also plenty of parking available, waiting times are never too long, and various additional services to help patients like a complimentary shuttle. They have an online portal phone application, UCI MyChart, that is so easy to navigate and very useful to review results as well as message your health care team. Living in California my whole life, I have experienced many different hospital systems and Primary Care clinics but none of them compare to UCI.

Worst ER location ever! Came here for heavy bleeeding in pregnancy. Not enough doctors or what but to get help or results take a very long time. I have nearly been here for almost 11hrs and not done

The doctors and nurses here are genuinely wonderful, kind, attentive, and clearly doing their best for patients. But the management and policies feel like they were written by lawyers and accountants, not people who care about healing. Everything seems designed to minimize liability and maximize profit, even if it means less flexibility for the staff and worse outcomes for patients. If you're looking for compassionate frontline care, you'll find, but the institution itself puts paperwork and risk management first.

UCI Medical Center is a leading academic medical center with knowledgeable physicians, professional staff, and a modern campus. While wait times can vary, the quality of care and wide range of specialty services make it an important healthcare resource for Orange County.

La espera es fatal pero si tienes calma obtendras cuidadp de calidad siempre te encuentras detalles y personal nada empatico con tu dlor y sufrimiento pero los profesionales que aman su trabajo recompensan cualquier mal rato si algo aprecio es la empatia en momentos de dolor y vergüenza ese fue mi caso ayer en mi visita al ER.
