UNETHICAL = We saw a nurse practitioner--not Dr. Pecht--and they billed Dr. Pecht's higher rate instead of her rate. $137 versus $89.00 = $48 overcharge. The practice manager, Lori, excused it as follows, Well we have employees to pay. I understand you have a biz to run but 1) run it ethically, please, and 2) don't purport to care about children when you're stealing the $ needed to feed them (from their mother who was laid off). One star.

We have been going to Coastal Pediatrics for almost 8 years now and have only had positive experiences with them. Their office runs smoothly, all their staff members are professional, and the doctors are amazing. We have mostly seen Dr. Pecht and Dr. Blank - they are both spectacular. Really great with my kids, thorough, calm, and understanding when the kids get a little antsy toward the end of our appointments. I recommend them to anyone local looking for a great pediatrician....
