Great doctor Very caring Professional Amazing and helpful Understanding Best doctor I have ever had
Was seen at Camarillo facility- by the looks of it she has the same communication standards no matter which office shes in....NONE. This has been the worst experience ever. A little background I was hospitalized in the beginning of the year with perforated diverticulitis which started this whole thing. I was told after a week of hospitalization and crazy amounts of antibiotics and pain meds that I needed to go see a GI and have a colonoscopy. I searched for a female, because I was scared and thought a female would be able to relate and be a bit more comforting. Not the case. First the wait is insane to even schedule. About 3 months later I was able to get in for the initial appointment. They were accommodating with me having to switch from in person to a virtual appointment as the week I was to go in I unexpectedly lost my father and had to fly back East for the funeral. After a brief and what I felt was rushed discussion I was told I needed the colonoscopy and I asked about other digestive issues and asked what I should do and I asked if I see a nutritionist or something. Dr Simon said a dietician or nutritionist is starting but has a waiting list. When I spoke to the girl did t get her name to schedule my procedure I asked about being placed on the waiting list. This was in July. I'm still waiting for that nutritionist to call guess they are just that busy. Once I was scheduled for the colonoscopy which was scheduled for September I had to be rescheduled for whatever reason. No big deal as I wasn't exactly jumping with excitement to have a camera invade my personal plumbing. Fast forward another two months and just had the procedure. The office is a nightmare the girls at the front desk are void of smiles or personality. Good luck trying to get anyone to answer the phone. I should say Nextdoor at the facility where the procedures actually take place are way different every person from the front desk to all the nurses are amazing super sweet comforting and knowledgeable They really are the only reason I didn't wind up running away after I checked in. Anyways still never actually meeting Dr Simon I was wheeled into the room and several people were in there all wearing scrubs I actually said out loud Dr Simon and because she turned around that's how I saw who she was for the first and only time in person. After the procedure still dazed and not fully aware of what was happening it was a rush to get me out I was asked if I had any questions I said yes One of the nurses chimed in and said ask now or good luck getting her on the phone. I said okay I'll wait that's when the nurse that was pushing me towards the door stopped and went to see if Dr Simon had a minute. She came back and said sorry she's already with someone else. She said don't worry though she or someone will call me next week with the results of the biopsies. Anyway today I get an email with the lab report and an email message from the doctor that says two precancerous polyps removed some other stuff I don't understand to come back in 7 years. Great I guess but I'd still like the other questions that I had to be answered by the doctor during the visit that I paid for. I called the office (sighhhhhh) first time on hold for a bit I was told they were on the phone with 1 patient then I'm up. So I waited then the inevitable click and disconnection happened. So I called again. This time after a shorter wait someone (very well versed in her scripting training) picked up said the doctor did reach out in the portal I expressed I wanted yo speak to the actual doctor to have my questions answered that weren't answered during my last paid visit because she was to busy. The girl said I had to schedule another visit to talk to her if that's what I wanted. I'm irritated because I want freaking answers I thought I was going to finally have answers as to why I'm in pain and have a bunch of digestive issues. After this I said fine send me yo scheduling as I want answers and I was sent yo voicemail. DONT GO HERE IF YOU WANT ANSWERS AND DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE A HUMAN BEING this place treats you like you're just another number Doctors and their staff need to realize just because their jobs are mundane and repetitive to them to us as patients it's the first time we're dealing with things treat us with respect and like you'd want to be treated or how you'd like your loved one treated
Terrible and in compassionate care!
Dr. Simon is a very caring and professional doctor. I highly recommend her services!
I left my phone number for Dr. Simon's office yesterday - and there was no call-back. How do I cancel my appt in 2 weeks????
Attentive, personal and knowledgeable

The office is well run, very organized and efficient. Dr Simon is thorough reviewed my complete history and made medical recommendations that were consistant with my needs and best interests. She is extremely pleasant with a great bedside manner. I highly recommend her and this office for your gastrointestinal care.
Dr. Simon listens to me and then guides my health plan. I have had several procedures with her and found her capable, gentle and knowledgeable.. I highly recommend. In addition, her office notified me of a callback when I had forgotten. Very thorough!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
