List of Patricia Lanter's Reviews
Dr Lanter delivered my last baby. She has so much common sense and is very down to earth, and she put me at ease right away.
With my time, I felt like she wasn't around when I needed the most as I have a special case. They saw a cyst on my right side and told me not to worry.I kept complaining about its painful and moght be the cyst but was told just my ligaments and body stretching or constipated later on become a huge ball of tumour with the shock of everyone how did it get there and could have lost my baby. The entire treatment , pains until accidentally giving birth, she didnt call me or check on me if how was everything. They could have closely monitor me and doe more ultrasounds.I would not recommend her if you have medical condition. Thankfully the doctor that closely work on me on the hospital did their best for me.
I have a condition that 99% of the time will be pointed out by any new docs I see or ones I see yearly. Ensuring that, either I'm aware of this condition or doing something about it. Again, 99% of the time. Sadly, I did not get this from Dr Lanter. I need my doc to be caring - emphasis on need. What's even more disappointing, is how the indifference trickled down to rest of staff. Unfortunate.
Nice at visit, all pertinent medical testing were done for simple birth control. Only provided 6 months of birth control meds and denied refill stating I was due for another visit...in less than a year!?!?!! Needs to have a little more common sense, since I have no underlying conditions. Extremely disappointed with her decision to deny birth control. Not Kosher... Moving on to another doctor
Dr Lanter is a friendly caring doctor. This was my first visit & during Covid. I felt extremely comfortable that they were adhering to CDC guidelines & then some. I called 12/30/20 at 4 pm & they got me in at 11:30 on 12/31/20. Incredible! But she knew I was suffering with an infection!
I want to start off by saying I never review people, things, restaurants... I’m not much of a review writer, however, I DO like to read reviews a whole lot. Dr. Lanter only has an average 3.5 star rating, and I was a little nervous because based off of reviews, it didn’t seem as though she was going to be nice. My appointment was scheduled for the next day and I wasn’t going to reschedule. I’m glad I didn’t. She is a 5-star Doctor!!! She came in and was so sweet from the start. She apologized for being late, but she spent the time with me that I felt was perfect- and I have a feeling this what she does with all of her patients. She made me feel very welcome and comfortable, answered all of my questions, and made sure to go over all of my concerns. I didn’t feel rushed, I didn’t feel pressured, I felt heard. I am happy I found my new OB/GYN.
This is the worst doctor I've had in my life! Very rude and not very sympathetic at all. Since day one she kept telling me that because of my age I could have problems. I know how old I am and there was no need for her to be so cruel. First visit she told me my baby had his organs outside of his stomach. Sent me to a GREAT genetics specialist, I guess that's the only thing I can thank her for. He was great in Westlake Village, love him and his staff, Dr. Shields. He said no, he did not see anything wrong. I kept going to see her and then my lab results came back positive for trisomy 18. They called me from her office said something came back positive, no feedback no nothing, she didn't bother to want to see me, they told me to call Dr. Shields. He was the one that offered me more testing and even asked me if my OB had already explained the situation to me, I said NO, nothing. Very long nightmare with her, too much to fit here, but I would never recommend this woman!
Dr Lanter is unprofessional and rude.
After seeing the same beloved Dr. Nishida for 30 years she is the first Dr I’ve seen since his passing????. I read her reviews but wanted to give her a chance since she took over his caseload and his office staff Maria and Norma were working for her now. So I go into my appt sad that it’s not Dr Nishida and then find out my fav med assistant Norma has passed away suddenly also???? thank God Maria was still there to keep some kind of normalcy. Well my take away for Dr Lanter was actually good. She was very sympathetic to me crying over Norma and Dr Nishida, and was also really great at listening to why I was there and getting everything done for me. I would give her a 5 star but then I’d fee like I’m cheating on Dr Nishida. So over all she was actually a good Dr I didn’t feel rushed at all and she did what I needed. I couldn’t ask for more??
Unprofessional, uncaring and a liar! Completely ignore the reason of my visit yet had the nerve to write on my online medical chart a plan that not once did she talk about which includeedmy great diet, exercise...oh and get this she even wrote she talked to me bout STD’s and safe sex! Not once did she talk about this. So disappointing to go to a professional for help and be treated like this. All this doctor cares about is insurance money nothing else.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
