Update: expect Ssslllllooooww (slow) service and responses to your inquiries. This is unacceptable. I visited Dr. Neira and the Spanish Hills Medical Group for the first time. My initial impression was that Dr. Neira is very personable, caring, and quite knowledgeable about his profession. That's a breath of fresh air, considering some of the experiences I have had with other physicians. He knew the causes of the symptoms and observations made by other physicians, knew what tests needed to be performed, and made excellent recommendations for preventive care. My only concern is that he will not be readily available when I have a need to see him -- probably because of his busy schedule. I'll have to see what his accessibility will be like, based on future visits.

Dr. Neira has always listened to what I am saying. He answers my questions in a manner that I can understand. He makes me feel like I am the only patient he has, and does not rush in and out. I highly recommend him. Excellent!!

My husband and I had been patients of Dr. Neira since 2004. Unfortunately we hav been very disappointed and dissatisfied with his practice. Dr. Neira never calls back for test results. Medications prescribed were not the right medication for the medical condition described to him. Scheduling appointment is a pain.

Drl Neira is the only doctor who took the time to listen actively to my health concerns. He was so kind, caring and compassionate. He ordered tests that 2 other previous doctors did not mention. Dr Neira reminds me of how Doctor/Patient relationships used to be when most people had a family doctor for many years. I will not go anywhere else, is worth any wait necessary.

I've been a patient of Dr. Neira's for many years. He's always pleasant, discusses my medical issues with me, and always resolves the medical problems I have at the time. Just very caring and a true professional. Over the weekend, one of my fingers got severely infected - but I had to wait til Monday morning to call his office. They gave me an appointment an hour later. Dr. Neira took care of my finger and it's now healing. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else.
