I love Dr. Cole! He makes you feel comfortable with talking about anything that may concern you and he resolves any doubt you may have on a concern. He's there for the patient 100% and cares.

Dr. Cole , is the best doctor in the whole wide world. I loved his bedside manners and expertise knowledge.Dr. Cole goes the extra mile for his patients. He explains everything so easily and made my surgery for an ovarian cyst I had drained in January of 2021 so simple. Dr.Cole got me right in for surgery. Before and after my surgery there was very little wait time to see him in his office. I was very impressed other doctors from my past I’d have to wait up to hour or more more. Dr.Cole is my favorite doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Cole to all of you ladies.

New patient here, I was considering not writing a review in case I ever come back but after the way they treated me in my first visit is just not worth it to go through that again. I dealt with this guy a long time ago and have heard only the same things since. Poor bedside manner is what he is known for, but also if theres an issue, he's suddenly very kind and helpful. So, he causes a lot of issues then swoops in to fix what he broke. I've had patient's who needed less pain meds, panicked less, had better vitals and outcomes after being bounced off of cars when provided some decent and focused bedside manner. I've also had women give birth in my care who responded just fine to the calm, collected and compassionate approach. I've stood there in the hallway while listening to this guy talk down to newly expecting mom's in what can only be explained as sexist and I endured several visits with him so I could have access to the midwife my insurance paid for. Here's something that won't shock anyone - I barely got any eye contact from the dude and he ripped my bandages off without warning and didn't apologize for the shock or pain. Because new and expecting moms and dads are scared and want only the best for their child, they take his crap willingly. Ask anyone how cold, rushed, annoyed and over it he is until something exciting is happening. THEN, he practices medicine. He is definitely part of a dying breed of men who have dominated the field of women's care for too long.

I so wish I had done my homework before I chose Dr. Cole as my OB. This man has a public reprimand from the Medical Board of California. Just google "Medical Board of California license" and look him up. He was found to have "gross negligence" and "repeated negligent acts", including one related to fetal distress. There are THREE patients described in this reprimand. I have a disabled child now (autism) from the birth he attended that resulted in major complications for both of us long-term. I will never know if my child's disability is directly linked to the care I received or not, but I wonder all the time. Especially when I think about his history of not recognizing fetal distress and the stress my baby was under throughout my own labor. For my own health I do firmly believe that I personally experienced negligence. When I filed a complaint with the medical board the hospital notes he completed reported care that I never received. I was so stunned, but didn't know what else to do, so I dropped it. I wish I had fought more, but I didn't want money or to sue. Now I just feel intense sadness when I think of other women being at risk like I was.

I am Jack O'Neill DC a chiropractor in Oxnard. Over the years I have had many opportunities to treat patient's Dr. Cole's patients for their musculoskeletal conditions. They universally have great things to say about him. I highly recommend them myself!

Dr. Cole has always been wonderful with me and my pregnancies. He is honest, to the point and caring when you need him to be. He knows me well and I love how "human" he is. He doesn't speak to you like a Doctor in ways you cannot understand. I think some might take offense to how direct he is, but I like that. I don't want to beat around the bush and want to know my options and the truth.
