We have tried to get care for our 92 year old mother w/ Dr. Castel & have been extremely disappointed in the lack of care (i.e. she doesn't appear to care about the well-being of our mother). Our mother is healthy (not on any prescriptions) but having memory trouble & other issues, including recurrent UTIs. We recently waited over two weeks for results of a urine culture. After we repeatedly called back, we finally got an answer that the results were negative. OK; well, good news but what about the symptoms that are still present? Wouldn't the doctor want to explore other causes? There was no mention of follow up. We've found it very difficult to get a timely appointment, at one point being told the doctor was very busy due to Covid. If that's the case, why not refer us to another doc? We've found the standard of care mediocre at best; the staff rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful; and the phone system tedious and cumbersome. We are left without medical care or knowing where to turn.

Dr Castel takes time with me and explains things in a concise and understandable way. She is thorough, approachable, cheerful, and caring. I highly recommend Dr. Castel and feel profoundly lucky to have her as my primary care physician.

Very poor and she will not release my medical records to me. She has left me without a primary care physician just because I had not seen her for a year. Sorry but i was healthy and now that I need to see a doctor, she has left me without any care or any recommendations for a new primary care doctor. Terrible treatment.

I had seen her for years, and my insurance changed. Boy did I miss her! I am back with her again and lucky to have someone so insightful, knowledge, personable, and really listens to all my concerns. I highly recommend her!

NEVER HAS AN APPOINTMENT AVAILABLE. DOESN'T LISTEN TO PATIENT COMPLAINT. LON, LONG, WAITING TIME --OVER AND HOUR FOR MEDICARE WELLNESS VISIT, WHICH WAS SCHEDULED MONTHS IN ADVANCE. SENT INCORRECT MAMMOGRAM INSTRUCTIONS TO IMAGING FACILITY. (GROSSMAN) PERHAPS SHE HAS A PERSONAL DISLIKE FOR ME, BUT I DO RESENT THE LACK OF ACCESS TO MY PRIMARY DOCTOR.

She help me alot i was dying on that time and i suffer from alot of complications. she was the one who help me motivate that i can survive. i know she is a tough Doctor but believe me, it is for your on sake. she knows what she was doing and look at me now am back on track because of her! thanks doctor Castel !!
