In late January 2017, upon learning that I was about to be scheduled for reverse shoulderreplacement surgery, I contacted Dr. Eleanor Haspel-Portner. My intention was to have her sage advice in moving through this event to recuperate fully and quickly. She created preoperative and postoperative hypnotic suggestion tapes as well as selected musical tapes,which I still use.Since I am now more than four months past the surgery, I can say with certainty, that listeningregularly to the tapes accounts for the ease and smoothness of my recuperation. The last timeI used prescription pain medication was in my IV in the morning after my surgery. I've never used any since. The tapes were so relaxing that I looked forward to daily rest periods when I listened to them as well as for very restful sleep at night.I will always be deeply grateful for Dr. Haspel-Portner's caring, wisdom and finely honed skills.Harriet Dezen

As a holistic practitioner and a mother of 2 young adults and grandma of a little one, I have appreciated more and more over time, the insights and openings received through working with Eleanor in my twenties. I especially enjoyed learning Reiki, meditation, and how to relate to my difficulties in a loving way. Eleanor is uniquely gifted and exceptionally well prepared to help people into fulfillment for a lifetime.
