Carol Renke's Online Review Report Card

I've been going to doctor Renke for over 10 years.   Very thankful she's my doctor...

I had been with her for 15-20 years. Wasnt thrilled with the service I received, but I stayed out of longevity.Because I disapproved of an antibiotic I couldnt take, she wrote me a YOURE FIRED letter.Her wall filled with business cards is a joke. If she cannot handle her patients, why is she in business? I was always being referred to someone else. Then what was the point of seeing her?Her PA is more readily available than she is. Her staff is rude, always puts you on hold for well over 5 minutes.  Its sad when a professional stops being professional. I went to get my much needed refill only to learn her staff DENIED IT. No call to notify me. I would seek care elsewhere

I Only saw Dr. Renke one time because of the pandemic virus, but her assistant Christina handled me excellent Hope to see her soon again!

I was the caretaker of my father during his decline and Dr. Renke and her PA and their support staff were INCREDIBLE!!! I can't say enough good things. If you need a primary care physician - look no further.I just wish she took MY insurance!! They take Medicare.

So, I need a primary care doctor.  I call Renke's office because the reviews were good.The receptionist answers the phone and I explained I was looking for a doctor and if they were accepting new patients, as many are not.  She said yes, depending on what kind of insurance I had. Kind of a strange question, but I said, Cigna PPO. She said, No, that wasn't acceptable. I said, "what, why not?"  Her response was, "We don't take that because we don't have to." Seriously, that was her answer.  I hung up completely stunned.Now, after an entire day on the phone, in order to find a doctor I have to join this special group of doctors that charge and extra $650 a year to just have an appt with them.  We seriously have a problem in this country when it comes to medical care.  Its a damn mess.

First meeting was positive. Saw a nurse practitioner. Just farmed me out to have unnecessary tests.  But then they did reach out after I called them. It is an hmo.  Quality of care just that.

I call to set up an appointment sen Simon new resident of Palm Desert I was told they're not taken new. I told the receptionist that I had APP O with Blue Cross Blue Shield and she said they're not accepting them. I then said I would be on medicare in May and she said so just call back. I won't be calling back because of how rudely I was treated by just simply trying to get him to see a doctor

I’ve been seeing Dr. Renke for over 10 years and she has always taken great care of both mine and my husbands medical needs. Whatever my issues are, she’s always been able to take care of me. It’s because of her that I was able to get the care needed when I contracted bacterial pneumonia, which needed surgeries and a hospital stay. She also referred me to my now rheumatologist who has been able to finally get my rheumatoid arthritis under control. She’s an amazing doctor and am so pleased that ims able to be treated by her and her staff......
