My girlfriend goes to Dr. Rao and she really loves the care she gets there. Oftentimes Greg the PA is the one who sits down with her to go over her charts and recent tests.  He really takes his time with the patient and doesn't rush you through your appointment but instead he carefully explains everything.  He is very knowledgeable in his field and shares with you his expertise. After he explains everything the doctor comes in and checks you and makes sure you are on track to be as healthy as you can be. I highly rcomend.

Very professional. Office staff is top notch (salute to Axa). Dr. Rao's PA, Greg, is highly knowledgeable and efficient. I highly recommend this physician.

Dr. Rao is my cardiologist since he performed an emergency angioplasty in January 2016 with two stents. I was awake the entire procedure and witnessed a true compassionate, skilled, highly professional doctor at work on the multiple video screens. He, Gregg (P.A.) and Danielle, his nurse, are awesome! I was very fortunate and am grateful.

I had a wonderful experience with dr. Rao and his PA Greg is very thorough. His staff is excellent from the moment you walk in. He is the best cardiologist in the desert.

Dr. Rao implanted two stents in one of three blocked arteries in January 2016. I am grateful. No issues.

NO question or doubt, that both Dr. Rao and PA Greg Scott are great Cardiologists their OR staff too are very professional, but their office staff is terrible! They failed to call me for a follow up appointment after my stress test. After 20 days and 2 calls they finally scheduled me to see Greg in 6 days. I am a patient that recently had a stent placed in my heart artery and have been experiencing a chest pain but had to wait 26 days after a stress test to talk to my doctor.

Firstly, Axa, is the receptionist and she is wonderful! She has knowledge of everything going on and deals with patient compassionately and effectively. There are a few practitioners but mine is Dr. Rao who owns the practice. He is an elegant, professional presence, rare in my experience. He placed 2 stents into one artery and spoke to me during the procedure. This heart attack was a complete shock as I had no history, no symptoms. Gregg is his PA and is first class in every respect. He listens well, explains with authority and patience and, again, is the best. Kim is the nurse and also renders very competent service. I feel very fortunate and grateful to them all during this bumpy period.

The Desert Heart Physicians office in Palm Springs has excellent service. The people who work there are so friendly, kind, and very welcoming. From the moment you step into the office, to the moment you step out you are in a safe environment in which people truly look out for you. The receptionist Axa welcomed me with a smile, and didnt grow impatient with my many questions on the papers I filled out. The nurse was also very kind, knowledgeable and very welcoming. Dr. Rao was amazing, he was very smart, and very patient, and explained in great detail what I needed to know. Everyone in this office was so friendly and welcoming, I highly recommend this office.

Dr Rao has been a well known Cardiologist in the Palms Springs valley. His office is very modern and classy just like Dr Rao. He has been my parents heart dr for over 15 years. His staff is just as good as him. His nurse Kim treats you like family. She is very caring and COMPASSIONATE. Her sensitivity to my parents is wonderful. I dont know the name of the receptionist but she is just as sweet. I highly RECOMMEND Dr. Rao.

Staff is thoughtful and professional. Dr. Rao is a Rock Star! Saved my life with two stents. His team is like a NASCAR pit crew, everyone has a job and they know what they are doing. Would highly recommend Dr. Rao and his team both in the operating room and the office.
