Shubha Kerkar's Online Review Report Card

I have been a patient of Dr Kerkar for more than 20yrs. I have taken care of her patients 25yrs ago at Desert Regional Medical Center when I was a staff nurse there. I never heard another nurse, physician, patient , or person who had anything poor to say about her. I think her expertise as a physician, excels far beyond HIV, She has a great deal of knowledge that she imparts to her patients so that they are at ease. Once she has explained her findings, a patient has a better understanding of the situation. I have known her to be very compassionate with here patients, helping them to cope with their health problems. She helps her patients ! I am so impressed!

One star is generous, the m.d. stands for "malpractice defendant" if you like being alive, choose another doctor.

Always a pleasure to see her and has taken such good care of me for years. She's caring and kind and very knowledgeable. I can only imagine the bad reviews are from angry patients who take it out on Doctors because they can. I know the type.

Dr. Kerkar is always caring, kind, and very patient. She explains things clearly and succinctly but always wants to take time to answer any questions. I've been seeing her for years and could not ask for a better physician to take care of me.

Dr. Kerkar is very knowledgeable, spends time to explain things, and answer questions. Once, when I had a question about whether the Shingles vaccine would be efficacious for someone with my profile she spent an extraordinary amount of time researching the issue since there was little information specific to me. I appreciated her in-depth investigation and ultimate recommendation. Don't expect a lot of hands-on; Dr. Kerkar will be more focused on your lab numbers, trends, viral load, etc. I trust her completely and feel lucky to be under her care.

Great staff, friendly , attentive, also very busy most of the time. So they go a little slow.

Dr KerKar is Very through , And dedicated to her patients. Kind , caring and someone you want on your health Care team. She’s world class.

She's a crook clearly in for the Pharmacuticl kick backs. She is not interested in how you really are, she interrupts you when explaining symptoms, your visit is exactly 30 minutes so she can bill your insurance for the examination room. Have a huge problem getting meds, after your one refill you have to go see her again to get refills and then it takes a month or more to see her so pharmacy won't fill until seeing her. She does not order blood test to see how your body is doing she just want to prescribe more meds then needed. I've been on bactrum DS for 3 years and was questioned by a hospital phacition why I was taking it everyday. Now having problems getting a 3 months supply to go out of town. Very frustrating and poor relationship with her patience.

I've been going to Dr. Kerkar for three years and she is absolutely wonderful and reliable. She takes the time to explain things and never rushes me. She is by far the best physician I have and I actually look forward to seeing her. Her staff are kind and pleasant which is not something I've encountered with other organizations. Love DAP.
