List of South Valley Health Center's Reviews
I been calling for a week now and no answer or call back from soraida from medical records! My son has an allergy and need his forms for school he started today and the school still hasnt recieved it .
The Dr made my visit about her. I didn't need to know about this being her last day because LA county fired all the contract Drs.
I had a very disappointing experience during my recent phone appointment. The doctor reviewed my lab results and briefly discussed lifestyle changes, including exercising more. When I explained that I already walk my dog for 30 minutes every day, the conversation felt dismissive rather than constructive. The most frustrating part was when the doctor asked why I believed I may have PCOS. I explained that I have experienced excessive facial and body hair growth, significant weight gain, severe bloating, and severely irregular periods for many years. I also explained that my periods can last 2–3 months at a time, with very heavy bleeding and constant severe blood clots. I also mentioned that I also suffered a work-related back injury and have been prescribed muscle relaxers and pain medication, and the doctor stated that these medications could also be contributing to my weight gain. However, I explained that I had been experiencing significant weight gain long before the injury occurred. Despite sharing these serious symptoms, the conversation quickly moved on without any meaningful discussion, concern, or guidance. The appointment felt rushed overall, and I left feeling unheard and unsupported. I understand that I missed my original 8 a.m. appointment and was worked back into the schedule, but if there was not enough time to properly address my concerns, I would have preferred to reschedule. Being told to “exercise more, stop eating fried food, and follow up in a year” did not feel like adequate care given the symptoms I described. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst medical appointments I’ve experienced, and I left feeling discouraged rather than helped.
I really like this hospital All the doctors are so good
This place is literal dog poop. You can’t call anyone. Whole place is understaffed. Try calling any number on the registry and you will be there forever. Kind of a shame tbh.
nurse who did my vitals was very nice, but the doctor was incredibly patronizing.
Some good people.
Was denied medical services bc my Medi-cal has not fully transferred to LA County even after doing all the correct steps
The worst place I ever been, first the doctors doesn’t speak English well, don’t understand what they are talking. They don’t hear the patient and doesn’t care patients filling. Trying to do second opinion in specialist and transfer insurance, While it is their responsibility to do the authorization. Very disappointed because see that is urgent for you ans doctor doesn’t try to help the patient. And and appointment starts 40 minutes later
Waited over an hour and a half to be seen for an appointment.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
