My kids are her patients. She has been great every time they see her. She always takes her time and very responsive if we had to make a last minute appointment and she would do her best to squeeze you in in her schedule. She and her staff are always friendly and kind.

We are in the process of dealing with some derm issue for my son, and Dr Gilliam has been absolutely amazing and thorough. Most of all, so responsive, like she really cares about getting my son better. Thank you Dr. Gilliam!

I visited her for my kids' Hemangioma. It was pretty big and there was a FDA approved medicine called propanolol which i guess she didnt know, would have mostly done wonders on my kid. Instead she told us that there are unknown side effects from the medicine and didnt prescribe us. I think she should update herself with latest info, propanolol is FDA approved in 2009 as a safe drug
Fantastic physician Great listener compassionate genuinely cares for her patients and their concerned parents. Highly recommend her. We need more physicians like Dr. Amy Gilliam
I tried to obtain an appointment with Dr. Gilliam. I was told by UCSF that she no longer took patients except for her Palo Alto Practice
Dr. Gilliam is absolutely AMAZING in all areas associated with her practice! Dr. Gilliam went above and far beyond my expectations! It is clear that she genuinely cares for her patients. During office visits she takes her time, ensuring all of your concerns have been addressed. As a result you may experience a longer wait time then expected, but while waiting you can be assured that the wait time is due to her exceptional bedside manner that one experiences on each visit! Dr. Gilliam typically returns your calls the same day you leave her a message. Dr. Gilliam will keep you updated on the progress of Your case; she will contact you on the weekends, before office hours, and/or after office hours. My daughter has an extremely rare tumor, and Dr. Gilliam was highly recommended by the Pediatrican. Dr. Gilliam facilitated consultation amongst her peers, cohort, and medical facilities like UCSF and Harvard, to ensure the best treatment options were considered. This is the BEST service I have ever received by any medical physican and I truly credit Dr. Gilliam for helping our family through a very scary experience that required multiple surgeries and extensive collaboration amongst medical professionals.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
