Worst office workers we have ever encountered. They did not collect a copay from us and then are refusing to send in my prescriptions until I pay a copay. I have diabetes, they are necessary. I need a paper trail with them because so many times they say I haven't paid WHEN WE HAD. So now this is the only place I HAVE to write checks for so I have proof which is undeniable. But to not fill prescription that is a malpractice suit. They blame all their mistakes on the patients and are extremely rude and unhelpful. I would have given zero stars. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE.

They never call you back they seem like they don't know what they are doing. I asked them to send a prescription for my mom to get strips and a new glucose machine and to this day it has never come I called the insurance people they say they never received the prescription that's been over four months now. They sent us a bill and all they have ever done for my parents was send them to see other doctors and every time we came we pay the copayment so why is there a bill. I'll call so I can get my dad in to see Dr. Gupta one person told me sure we have an appointment available at 1:15 then she put me on hold someone else came back on the line and told me they couldn't find my father's medical records did he put me on a hold and then someone else came back and told me there was no appointments available for that day after I sat on hold for 30 minutes to make the payment from the first person that I spoke with. I finally tired of them and looking for a new doctor for my parents.

Dr. Gupta's office is poorly managed by Ms. Gupta, Dr. Gupta did not review my medical history, and only looked at the current medical tests because as Ms. Gupta implied, they are busy with other patients. Ms. Gupta provides contradictory information, talks over you, and hangs up the phone during a conversation.The long story: My wife and I were searching for a doctor to replace an excellent doctor we have had for over ten years that started a concierge service. We interviewed the office before the first visit. We were told and the website states they have same day appointments <a href="/redir?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.smcdoctor.com%2F&amp;s=93557856ed8f9f83420c2a25c21e3f00f3fd514d9d5f18805ba2d3e5173eebbc" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">smcdoctor.com</a>. We found out that is not true. The initial appointment for my wife was set-up on the wrong day, we should have taken it as a warning that the office is mismanaged.I have several medical conditions that need to be watched and the tests are recorded on a disk. The office was not able to accept my history on a CD, so I printed over 100 pages and hand carried the paper to the office. After the initial visit, Dr. Gupta requested me to take tests at a test facility. One of the tests was for diabetes, A1C test. I am a borderline diabetic and I was asked to lose weight. I mentioned the concern during the office visit, in spite of this, I had to wait for a visit several days later to find out the results. I called in and insisted on receiving the results for the A1C test. From my previous doctor, I received the test results from the nurse within a couple of days.When the office called me a couple days before the visit, I told the office Dr. Gupta needed to look at the history. I asked them if they had the paperwork, they did not know and it may be in Dr. Gupta's office. I asked for the Office Manager to call me to make sure Dr. Gupta had the paperwork. I never received a call.Just before the online visit, I was called by the office and I asked if Dr. Gupta had my history. She was not sure. Dr. Gupta came on the phone and I asked him if he reviewed the paperwork, he told me he did not, but he will tell me the results of the most recent exam. I told him it is important to look at the trends, he suggested I should go to a concierge service. I was going to take Dr. Gupta's advice, and find another doctor until I talked with Dr. Antus, who works for Dr. Gupta. My wife was waiting for Dr. John Antus at the same time I was talking with Dr. Gupta. Dr. Antus provided excellent care for my wife. I told him about my recent conversation with Dr. Gupta. He said he would have suggested an EKG, which Dr. Gupta did not. I asked him how long he will be working, he stated he had no plans of retiring. He impressed me, and I told him of my requirements and asked, considering the support I received from his boss, Dr. Gupta, would he consider me as a patient. He told me to call the office to set-up an appointment.I called the office to make an appointment as suggested by Dr. Antus. Ms. Gupta got on the phone; told me I should go to a Concierge Service. All new patients are being seen by Dr. Gupta, and Dr. Antus will be retiring within the next 3 - 5 years. When I tried to tell Ms. Gupta what Dr. Antus told me, Ms. Gupta talked over me and then hung up the phone, twice. Ms. Gupta provided conflicting statements. Ms. Gupta stated to me that Dr. Antus did not want to have me as a patient and she stated a new patient is not seen by Dr. Antus. Ironically, Dr. Antus saw a new patient, my wife, and suggested I call the office to make an appointment. My wife saw Dr. Antus. She found out that she cannot see Dr. Gupta Monday - Friday, because he is only in the Manassas Office on Tuesday and Thursday.Seeing a doctor is a personal choice, your choice, you can seek medical care from Dr. Gupta or you can seek medical care elsewhere. An urgent care facility is open at least Monday - Friday and they do keep a history of their patients. I know that, because I hand carried my wife's patient first records to Dr. Gupta's office.I highly suggest you consider, if Dr. Gupta and the management of the office by Ms. Gupta, can provide you with the health care that you deserve.

Cocky and rude. Does not listen to parents concerns. Acts as if he knows everything and parents just need to do what he says. Did not feel confident in his ability to care for my baby, and was worried for my child's safety.
