List of Brad Hinrichs's Reviews
Doctor Hinrichs is one of the best ENT doctors I have known. He has treated my father and me several times for various ailments and has been able to diagnose and treat us effectively. He is very even tempered and kind, willing to listen and explain things, and most importantly, he really knows what he is doing. I would not hesitate to see Dr Hinrichs for ENT problems.
After 9 month of discomfort, pain, numerous dermatologists, physicians, dental surgeon, all milking the insurance and zero help nor definite answer. Finaly, met doctor Hinrichs, diagmosed with mucous cyst in the mouth. He performed mini procedure and now two month later completely healed. Can not be more grateful. I would highly recommend this doctor to anyone in need of help.
Have been a patient of Dr Hinrichs for about 15 years, initially for recurrent ear infections that seemed to require suctioning every year or so by other doctors, ie: before I met him. Typically this would occur while on holiday at a beach, very inconvenient. Anyway, he gave me advice on how to prevent these ear infections with a simple home remedy and since then I have only had 2 ear infections in 15 years. Very impressed with him, I still follow his advice every day.
Seriously the worst ENT. I went there because for 2 years I have had chronic sinus issues and tinnitus. I have had more nose bleeds and headaches recently an MRI that shows inflammation and my pcp recommend to see and ENT and a referral was done. The minute he read tinnitus on my chart he told me there was no cure and I need to just live with it. So right away with out even looking at my ears or nose or anything I had no chance. So I ask what about my sinuses.... i told him I previously Had allergy test and I dont seem to be allergic to anything and I always feel congested and sick with very thick mucus...... guess what he didnt even look or ask me questions he said there is nothing I can do. Not even a suggestion on anything. Im so lost and confused on how this man can even be a DR. You could of pretended at least look at my nose or in my ears ... maybe act like you cared. Thanks for not even giving me a chance and giving up on me.
This doctor had mixed reviews and I was skeptical of coming to see him.I am so HAPPY I did!He was on time, very professional, listened , took time with me and gave me suggestions on how to move forward. I would give him 10 stars if I could.
Dr Hinrichs is an amazing doctor. He accommodated my daughter with an appointment the same morning we took her to Urgent Care for severe throat pain that had been going on for 7 days and no amount of pain meds or antibiotics were helping her. He was calm and comforting and did a quick and accurate diagnosis and a small procedure that immediately reduced her pain by 80%.
I had been struggling with a severe sore throat/nasal congestion due to allergies which kept leading to continuous sinus infections, for at least 5 years. Dr. Hinrichs recommended an Rx + some at home remedies, and I have not had to see a doctor SINCE for allergies. Furthermore, now when I get nasal congestion (I have bad sinuses since I was a kid) I know exactly what to do to get rid of it BEFORE it develops into a sinus infection. Absolutely recommend him for straightforward remedies that work.
I was referred to Dr. Hinrichs by one of his colleagues who frequently collaborates with him in surgery. This colleague described Dr. Hinrichs as an excellent surgeon who is a pleasure to work with.I consulted with Dr. Hinrichs twice regarding sinusrelated issues and both times I found him to be very kind, caring, professional, knowledgeable and open minded in regard to treatment options.I first consulted Dr. Hinrichs to get a second opinion regarding treatment for sinus polyps after another ENT surgeon told me that, given the extent of the blockage of my right sinus area by polyps, my best option was radical surgery involving removal of both polyps and bone in my sinuses. Dr. Hinrichs carefully explained this and other medically approved treatments for the problem of polyps and was very candid about the limitations of each one. I appreciated this information because it gave me a better understanding of the problem and helped me to adjust my expectations in terms of possible treatment outcomes. Combined with information given to me by other health care professionals, it also inspired me to do some experiments at home to see if I could shrink the polyps myself.I later consulted with Dr. Hinrichs in regard to a deviated septum and, again, he was very helpful. During that visit, I reported that I had been successful in shrinking the polyps in my right sinus. He confirmed this success through an examination and then provided me with an additional suggestion for keeping the polyps at bay which he said had worked for one of his other patients.Dr. Hinrichs told me that I dont need surgery on my septum, so I didnt have any further appointments, but based upon my above experience and his colleagues recommendation of him, I wouldnt hesitate to seek Dr. Hinrichs help again, including surgery if I needed it.By the way, if you have a problem with sinus polyps and have been referred to an ENT surgeon for the problem, I recommend that you ask Dr. Hinrichs to tell you about the nonsurgical option using Alkalol (not the same as alcohol).
Dr. Hinrichs is the greatest doctor of any kind my family has ever met. He diagnosed and treated my daughter (then 16) for acinic cell carcinoma, a rare salivary gland cancer. Following a successful 5 hour surgery to remove part of her parotid gland, she has been fine since. Dr, Hinrichs followed up with her for the next few years before and during college, but she now resides in Arizona, and is seeking a local ENT. Sadly we are not having luck locating one (with this specific experience), but Dr. Hinrichs came up again in my google search, so I decided to write a review. We are considering a commute to the SF Bay, for checkup. Dr. Hinrichs has the best bedside manner, and helped our family thru this time! If you ever need an ENT do not hesitate for a minute. He is your guy.
I came to him complaining that I was unable to breathe well out of one of my nostrils. He took a look inside and informed me I had a nasal polyp that required surgery. He gave me his assistants business card to schedule the surgery. Being the overly cautious type, I asked for a second opinion from a general, non ENT, doctor (not at Palo Alto medical). This doctor looked in my nose, but said he saw no nasal polyp. He also told me that the usual initial treatment for nasal polyps are steroid nasal sprays, not surgery. So after this, I figured I needed a third opinion. I went to a private pay ENT, one of the best there is quite expensive. He said there is absolutely no nasal polyp. I have a deviated septum. He said that he generally recommends people stay away from Palo Alto Medical Foundation. Beware.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
