I wanted to thank you and your team for taking such good care of me and my hip during my recent surgery adventure. I’m doing great, the scar looks pretty innocuous for its purpose, and my mobility is back without pain. Everyone who helped me was very professional and caring. The pre-op team at both PAMF and Sequoia always responded to my questions promptly and were very informative and supportive in preparing me for the surgery. The care at Sequoia was outstanding. From admission through pre-op and anesthesia and post-op, to the care I received on the unit from the nursing care team and PT, all were kind and professional and I am sure this contributed to my good outcome. I am surprised with how much better I feel after this surgery! Thank you for your support and expertise.
Started on the journey to hip replacement after my GP took some X-rays and scheduled an appt with Dr. Graw. I honestly thought I was done skiing after nearly 50 years. I could walk but just barely. My wife, sibs and friends would actually wince WATCHING me walk. One of the first things he told me was that he saw no reason I couldn't get back on the boards. All I wanted was to be able to walk and do things like tie my damn shoes without pain. (Pro tip: if you're taking 2-3 Alleve a day and telling yourself it's probably just your hip flexors...get thee to your doctor.) After the first appointment, Dr. Graw and his team @ PAMF never lost the positivity, always gave me clear explanations for each step of the process and were always considerate and concerned about me. After multiple in-person visits, a few phone calls, two hip-replacements, PT sessions, persistent and positive encouragement/vibes, on Tuesday, 1/25/23, I made my first turns in 5 years. (Woulda been sooner had COVID not happened.) No pain, no restrictions, no problems. "Thank you" doesn't adequately cover how much Dr. Graw and his team helped me. But I will say it again: Thank you, Dr. Graw!
I am a 52 year male. I was struggling with hip pain for the last several years. My primary care physician recommended a hip replacement and recommended 3 doctors in Palo Medical foundation who could perform the operation. I asked if it was her, who would she select? She named Dr. Bradley Graw. After a consultation, we scheduled a surgery date. As part of his process, he brought me and other potential patients onto a zoom, where he explained the process in great detail. It was reassuring to know all the steps, and what things would be like during my surgery and recovery. Dr Graw uses Sequoia Hospital for the surgery because they have an extremely low post operation infection rate. During the process, I had several hurdles with my insurance, and his staff handled it extremely well. The care that I received during, and after the surgery was first class. On my day of surgery, I arrived at 6 am for prep. I was done with surgery by 10 AM, and I was walking that evening with a walker. I only spent one night in the hospital (as a precaution) based upon my preference When i went home, I had several visits from physical therapist in my home (setup by Dr Graw's staff). I felt good about walking around with a walker within several days of my surgery. I progressed to a cane within a week. And within six weeks, I was back to my old self. It's been 13 months since my surgery date, and I am extremely happy with the outcome. I can go back to a normal way of living and enjoying my activities without pain or discomfort. I highly recommend SDR Bradley Graw. Your health is the most important thing, and having a doctor with his experience and success rate is the most important factor. If you are in pain, Don't wait, call Dr Graw now.
After suffering for over four years with severe arthritis in both hips, Dr. Graw agreed to replacing both hips. I had separate procedures and both experiences with Dr. Graw and his team were phenomenal. Dr. Graw and his team went above and beyond to make sure I understood all the circumstances and possible outcomes surrounding my surgeries (given I am a larger person). Dr. Graw even took extra precautions to ensure I didn't develop any infections during the procedure and during recovery. Not only is Dr. Graw thorough and excellent at his job, but his nurse (Jennifer D.) is extremely helpful, supportive and accommodating. Jennifer is personable, super fast to respond to emails and phone calls, and she makes sure to promptly schedule all follow-up appointments. I appreciate Dr. Graw and his team. I am also extremely grateful for being on the way to an active and pain-free life.
Dr. Graw performed a THR in 2018. I could bear weight immediately but experienced excruciating pain if I stood erect. I had to stay an extra day in the hospital because I couldn't ambulate. Dr. Graw claimed this pain was due to my body having a reaction to the implant, which made no sense on the face of it given that I didn't have pain most of the time. The hospitalist googled my symptoms and quickly diagnosed the pain as resulting from damage to the superficial lateral femoral cutaneous nerve, which I learned later is a not uncommon adverse event with the anterior approach. Dr. Graw had not warned me this was a possible adverse event associated with the anterior approach, and showed little interest in my nerve pain on my outpatient post-op visit, of which there was only one. The damage to the nerve is due to trauma from the surgery, and I have since suffered from meralgia parasthetica-- constant numbness, pain and odd sensations in my outer thigh due to this nerve damage. And over the years I have developed hip pain in the surgical area and resulting leg weakness that is as debilitating as the original hip pain. The orthopedic surgeon who did my other hip in 2022 reluctantly concluded that the hip pain is due to nerve entrapment due to damage caused by the anterior apprach surgery and, unfortunately, there is nothing to be done about it beyond the medications I am already taking. You might get lucky with your anterior approach surgery with Dr. Graw, but be aware that he does not fully disclose the potential drawbacks of the anterior approach, and, if something goes wrong, he will not be honest about, take responsibility, or do anything to help you.
Dr. Graw changed our world, literally! After multiple procedures on the cervical spine, and neck, with great success, Dr. Graw just took it to a whole new level with a titanium hip! So if you're looking for a new knee, or hip, look no further!!!! Stunning, genius, rock star!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just met with Dr. Graw and his team today regarding the possibility of hip surgery.Dr. Graw was so knowledge in spending quality time with me and my husband in describing my situation and the option of hip surgery to relieve painful movement.I now have the confidence in Dr. Graw and his experienced team in proceeding with the surgery upon receiving the final results of my MRI. Can't wait to be able to walk and enjoy life again without pain!
Doctor Graw is the real deal, professional- approachable- knowledgeable. His team of associates are incredible, beginning with the receptionist down to the medical assistant and physicians assistant they we're all superb/ informed and very welcoming.Doctor Graw assisted me with hip replacement surgery - an incredibly scarey procedure due to previous trauma involved. I always felt as if they guided me through the entire process his surgery scheduler person was incredible too.
After having pain and suffering for over a month and counting days to and waiting for my appt with Dr.Graw, his office called a day before my appt and cancelled my appt. I found out later that doctor Graw took off for vacation the day before my appointment. How insensitive and selfish a doctor can be. Have a nice vacation Dr. Graw.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
