Super-dedicated, empathic, skillful, and insightful. CHANGED my life. Goes way beyond the normal "call of duty" for psychoanalysts. I highly recommend Dr. Brast for psychoanalysis / psychotherapy for even extremely difficult issues.

Brilliant. Compassionate. Insightful. Dr. Brast changed everything. I live a fuller, richer, and more rewarding life. I’m connected to family and community. My hope is that I can bring just some of the light I’ve found working with him to the world around me.
Dr. Brast is deeply invested in his patients. His attention to detail is only surpassed by his passion. I hope you are lucky enough to have him as your doctor.
Dr. Brast, is a fellow set in his ways, and without compassion. Any communication outside of his point of view is met with anger and derision. During our last session, he informed that he has seen over 400 patients. In his assessment, helping 1/3, achieving nothing with 1/3, and doing harm to a small subset of the remaining 1/3. I suppose if I was hiring a MLB middle infielder, this might have been redeeming. However, I was there for help, and this Man offered none. Look elsewhere, folks.

This man is lacking compassion, is rude and offensive if his views are challenged in any way. His psychiatric skills are highly questionable at best.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
