List of David Maahs's Reviews
Dr. David Maahs and this practice is the WROST medical practice I have even experienced in life. If you are a patient or a parent of a patient, stay away from this practice. You will save many headache and painful moments. Since my daughter transferred to this clinic, there has been not even one pleasant experience. Since her disease is chronic, we need prescription renewal from time to time. The doctor is NEVER reachable. Whenever we left a message for the doctor, he NEVER returned the phone call, not even once. His office never renew the prescription on time. In order to get my daughter's prescription renewed, every time, I have to battle with them for half month to a month, until I complain to the hospital patient care, then after another few days or a week, the matter will be resolved. This simply because 1) no one would answer the call; 2) if you left a message, they never return the call; 3)the doctor does not care patients. Here is how I knew it - We thought that all the pain in prescription renewal and supplies were due to a careless support team and the doctor may not even know it. So in our only face-to-face visit (all others had to be tele-appoints, the policy of the practice in pandemic) to Dr, Maahs, who is the Director of Stanford' Children's Endocrinology program, we thought that we could communicate with him and get the issue resolved. However, once we mentioned the topic, Dr. Maahs was very angry and rude. He simply said that it was an insult to his practice and left the office with the door banged in front of us. At that moment, we understood why this practice is hopeless. I took time to share my experience with all of you because I know as a parent of a patient, how stressful it is. Dealing with this type of careless and unprofessional practice is the nightmare. Please avoid them.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
