Online Reviews Breakdown
List of David Steiner's Reviews
If I had known in the beginning what I know now, I would have never gone to him. If I described everything that happened, I would end up writing an essay a mile long. If I had to choose between being mentally ill or being his patient, I would choose mental illness because that would be easier to handle. If you value your health and the health of your loved ones, please, do not go anywhere near this doctor.
Dr Steiner was the worst Psychiatrist I have ever been to. I did not feel safe in his care at all. A doctor's oath is to "Do No Harm". I regressed in his care! I continued to see him, but after experiencing constant issues with his receptionists, and the poor and snippy attitudes of most of them, I found another psychiatrist. If you care anything about your well-being and your mental health, I strongly advise you to find another group or single Psychiatrist elsewhere.
Great office staff and Dr Steiner is wonderful help.
There are not enough horrible things on this planet that I could say about Dr. Steiner to really embody how terrible of a doctor he really is... Essentially he is a scrip writer; that is his job. You go into his office, tell him what's wrong, he writes you a prescription, and sends you on your way in 10 minutes or less. I never got the sense that he cared or was knowledgeable about his specialty. For mild anxiety, I walked out of his office after the first appointment with a 6 month scrip of a massive dose of antianxiety meds (benzodiazepines - the addictive kind of anxiolytics). When I asked about therapy, he looked at me kind of funny, told me it would hurt me if I did it, then told me to come back in 12 months... After I ran out of my benzo scrip, I found out I was chemically dependent on whatever substance he put in my body, and I lost a year of my life when I had to withdraw and recover from the effects of the medication. Avoid this man like the plague as he can do you serious damage.
The office staff is incompetent. They don't always call in the refill when you call one in and the billing is a disaster. 1 full year and we still can't get a correct bill from them!
He is very arrogant. It was a terrible experience.
Dr. Steiner has an awful bed side manner, he is very judgemental and often acts as though his patients are beneth him. When I found out I was pregnant he took me off all meds. instantly, until my next appt. which was month and a half later. When I did see him again, he talked for 10 min. before I finally interrupted him to make him aware that he had taken me off of all meds. He didn't even have it noted in my chart. He asked personal questions that had nothing to do with my med. management, for example, who is the father of your baby. I use to work at another agency that uses him to treat their client's (client's with mental retardation) Dr. Steiner would take all of 5 min or less per each client. He would smile at them and say are you good, then say "yeah, their good", write a script and ship them out. There is no telling how much this man makes to be the inconsiderate ass that he is! I wish I could rate him on careing for his patients, becaues that would be a big zero!
Office,Medical Professionals are very, very busy..Need to hire more Professionals.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
