Always been great and personable with me and gave me the right medication to get t back to my self again
very unreliable doctor who does not care This doctor was supposed to write a letter to court to explain I am unable to litigate at this time due to severe mental problems. Dr had more than a month either to do it or tell me he won't do it so I could find Dr who would do it. Instead Dr. Degaetano "worked" on the letter all this time and still, being well aware about the deadline didn't provide the letter until it was too late. As the result court didn't get the letter on time which caused all kinds of problems for me including financial which all caused even more stress which he didn't absolutely care about. Moreover, after this failure he abandoned me as a patient without even giving me a chance to find and start with other psychiatrist. So now I am in severe crisis feeling horrible and without a doctor and ability to find one since it take time to find replacement. Dr. Degaetano knew about that bu5 again didn't care. If you want a doctor who does not care go see Dr. Degaetano.
I like that he recommends the literature of great minds who have suffered from the Bipolar disorder condition. And, he is Hot but doesn’t cross boundaries ;)
Dr. DeGaetano was nice and professional. However, I was just looking for med management, and he pushed me to try TMS therapy. I went 2-3 times a week for six weeks, it was very expensive even with insurance, and I never saw any benefit. However, after that failed, Dr. D helped me try a different antidepressant, and it actually helped a ton. He also gave me advice about symptom management. I think he’s a good psychiatrist, but the TMS was very unhelpful

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
