Dr. Chekani was so harsh with my son that my son refused to go to the doctor for three years after seeing him. He grilled him with questions, berated him and overall made him feel very uncomfortable. It was a grave mistake to ever see him.
We came for a 30 months check up and we’re sent home because our son had a cold earlier in the week. We told the receptionist this on the screening call and also told her we had taken Covid tests in the past 24 hours and they were negative. She said since our tests were negative, we were good to go to the visit. Above all, what kind of doctor refuses to see sick patients?!
He is impatient with patient and very Rude.
An awesome doctor for both of my boys!
I switched my son's primary care physician from another doctor in this practice to Dr. Chekeni after he saw my son when he was sick. Dr. Chekeni is great with my 12-year old. He listens to him and asks follow up questions to make sure he is understanding my son in specific terms. When my son caught a horrendous stomach bug, Dr. Chekeni saw us two days in a row for same day appointments, and was very prompt about informing me about the test results when they came in. Great experience all around.
Brusque, in a rush and failed to examine key body systems for a child with specific symptoms. Don't care about your double doctorate if you lack the patience to listen to a parent and forget to perform vital physical exam.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
