From my personal experience Dr Balon is an arrogant physician with minimal emotional intelligence.I would replace her, but couldnt find and Internal Doctors at the Mountain View facility that take new patients

Unprofessional doctor with bad bedside manners. I am puzzled how this lady received a doctors license. She is always behind the schedule, very slow with her response to patients and mostly wrong with her diagnosis.

Galina Balon - my family doctor many years. Galina is very professional doctor for my family (for my husband, my sun and for me). She is nice diagnostic, very polite person. Galina is deciding all problems with my healthy. Thanks a lot, doctor Balon! You are the best doctor in me life!

Dr. Balon was our family doctor for many years. She was great and caring. Last year she fired me and my wife. She did not say why and Sutter did not tell us why we were fired.She told us to go see another Russian doctor not at Sutter which we thought was very strange. Does she not want her group to keep patients?  My wife and I were very depressed and even had to talk to a psychiatrist about how we were treated. I had not done anything to Dr. Balon and we loved her like she was our own. My other doctors at Mountain View Sutter clinic told me she did not fire me and that nothing like that was true. I made another appointment with Dr. Balon and she was very rude: What are you doing here? She then told me she will see me that one time and to get another doctor, told me to pretty much to get out of her office. I opened this account for our Russian community to know what is happening with Dr. Balon. She used to take care of many of my friends and another couple had a similar experience they were fired.  They are planning to file a former complaint with Sutter. We are very sad and depressed all our wonderful specialists are in Mountain View and we are old people who need special care and our doctor of 10 years feels it is ok to fire us with no explanation and send outside of our care system. Be wear if you are old you better off with anyone at PAMF but her.  We have really good insurance too Mediare with supplemental. The only reason this happened is because we are old...

Dr. Balon is the most thorough doctor I have ever had. I feel so fortunate to have her as my primary physician. I never feel rushed and am grateful for the specific recommendations she makes to keep up my health.

I have been a patient of Dr. Balon for 17 years. She is without exception the best physician I have ever seen. She is truly attentive and caring. More importantly she is a fantastic diagnostician. Years ago she felt my thyroid -- which was not enlarged and all indicators were good -- and sent me for ultrasound, because she felt a tiny nodule. The world famous endocrinologist at Stanford who subsequently treated me said he was amazed that she felt it. The ultrasound and subsequent tests revealed cancer -- which was treated in a timely manner. There where many other instance of Dr. Balon's brilliant diagnosis, but that time she literally saved my life

Dr. Balon is a very caring, knowledgeable and thorough doctor. She always gets to the bottom of the symptom/issue to ultimately diagnose and find the appropriate treatment. She will not just provide some medicine to lessen the symptoms which I find is the approach for majority of the doctors these days.I am a long time patient of Dr. Balon and every time I see her I feel confident that she will be thoughtful and helpful. Last time when I came for my regular check-up, she had me do some tests as usual. One of the test results did not satisfy her and she ordered for me to perform the CT Scan. As result of this test, it helped to diagnose that I had a tiny tumor in my left kidney, which turned out to be a cancerous tumor. My family and I are extremely grateful to Dr. Balon that this tumor was discovered in such an early stage. Due to this, I was scheduled to have it removed successfully by another great professional - surgeon Daniel Yao without any further need for chemotherapy or any other more invasive therapies that may be required if this tumor had grown to beyond what it was.

I have been seeing Dr Balon for nearly ten years, after being referred to her by a friend. She is a fantastic doctor and I feel very lucky to have her as my PCP. She genuinely cares about me as a person and as her patient. Every year she asks detailed questions and requests diagnostic tests to make sure that there are no potential issues (fortunately, so far, there haven't been any). She reviews the results with me and makes useful recommendations. She is also gentle and patient with certain uncomfortable routine tests that shall go unmentioned. Dr Balon is a strong advocate for my health and I plan to keep seeing her as long as she is practicing.

Dr. Balon was my PCP for 7 years. I have very bad impression of her practice. She misdiagnosed me on a few occasions. Her office is not well organized either. Her treatment was waste of my time and money. I would not recommend her as a physician.
