Alzheimer's Care My mother was diagnosed with Alzheimers 6 years ago and it has been a real struggle to manage some of the behavioral changes and issues that have arisen with this disease. Dr. Murphy has been excellent with her and us in managing her care, discussing options for medications and monitoring her progress. All of our lives have been improved with having him on our medical team.

Attentive & Kind My experience collaborating with Dr. Murphy has been exceptional. He's a true professional, always responsive, and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. His commitment to patient care is evident in every interaction, and he's a valuable partner in our shared goal of improving healthcare outcomes. He's not only knowledgeable and skilled, but he's also incredibly kind and attentive.

An Excellent Practitioner I had a preconceived notion of what meeting with a psychiatrist was going to be like...awkward moments of silence while the doctor maintained a distant, reserved demeanor. In meeting with Dr. Murphy, I had the exact opposite experience. He maintained a professional manner while engaging in easy conversation and providing encouraging feedback during each session. Dr. Murphy considered my physical health, as well as mental health, as we discussed exercise, diet, and sleep for an overall healthier outcome. He was in contact with my internist, when considering medication changes, and that made me feel very 'safe' with him. Dr. Murphy is kind, compassionate, energetic, and a 'cheerleader' for his patients.

Dr Murphy Review My family has worked with Dr Murphy for a few years and we consistently find his practices, recommendations and advice to be accurate, insightful and valuable. Dr Murphy was recommended to us by my mother-in-law's PCP when their own attempts at managing her dementia were unsuccessful. Dr Murphy skillfully got things on track with measured and well researched treatments and, as a result, my mother-in-law now leads a fuller and less anxious life.

Excellent care recieved I have been seeing Dr. Murphy for a while and have recieved excellent treatment. We have had to try several configurations of treatment in order to find something that worked, which is more than previous doctors had been able to do.

Easy to work with and contact. Was very helpful and insightful on what medication I needed.

Back on Track I started see Dr.Murphy 2 years ago for depression.With his guidance and care I was able to get a lot better quickly.Also his recommendation for a stress reduction program was extremely helpful. I found him to be a very caring person and a good listener.
