List of Harvey Cohen's Reviews
This is the most rude and disrespectful practice that I have ever experienced. Staff and doctor are very unprofessional/rude. Extremely long wait times both on the phone and in the office. The staff reflects the character of Harvey Cohen. They don't care about the patient, only the money coming in.
My husband ( a senior citizen and heart patient) made an appt with Dr Harvey Cohen this past week for the express purpose of getting his RX filled since he has been waiting 2 weeks for his RX to get to our pharmacy, from his previous visit about 2 weeks ago!. So after calling the office SEVERAL TIMES and his staff just kept saying that "he hasn't had a chance to sign off on your RX," my husband went in this morning and after waiting in the examining room for 45 minutes, Dr Cohen came in and said, " I will be in in a minute, I still have other stuff to take care of.." Dr Cohen did this to my husband twice- my husband said," in the time that we are talking, what I need should be pretty quick if you just give me 5 minutes". Dr Cohen said, " if you can't wait, you can just leave!" My husband got up and left- still no RX- it's been 3 weeks. I would never recommend Dr Cohen, he is overbooked and his staff is not up to par. Senior citizens require medicines and a staff that can attend to what they need when they call. None of these were new RX- they were maintenance meds that he has been on for quite awhile. All we needed was for Dr Cohen to do his part and sign off so the Pharmacy could process the RX! How would you feel if you had to wait 3 weeks for your heart medicine? Totally unacceptable!! I am a Medicare certified insurance agent and I am well aware that this is NOT the way senior citizens should be treated!
I took my mom to dr Cohen long time ago for 10 years. I was going to come for myself but same complaints. With early appt for my mom I sometimes waited 4 hours. I can't do this again. He might be a good dr. But why was my time not valuable? Old staff would say. He lets his friends go first. Not a shocker
You could not find a more caring Dr. Yes you ha e to wait, but has found thyroid cancer and saved do many lifes. If I was sick I would make hour drive, wait the 3 hours and be happy that I could see a broad cert dr with 3 degrees. That cares for his pts
I don't mind waiting 30 minutes past my appointment time, but two and then 3 hours on the next visit. Just because I am a retired senior, does not mean my time is not valuable. When you ask staff about the delay, they just respond "that's what it's like". Dr. Cohen is not a movie star that I need to wait hours past my appointment, to then hear jokes and laugh it off, before I get to my needs. I was tired, starving and over it by the time he finally got to me. Had I known I could have just checked in, gone out to pick up lunch, and returned to eat in the waiting room, while I waited to be seen. Per the office staff it is not okay to check in late, but okay for this Doctor to make me wait. What? Another thing that occurred was my test results. There was a some kind of problem getting it from the cardiologist downstairs, up to Cohen's office. I nicely asked if someone could go downstairs and pick it up so I did not need to make another appointment, so I did not have wait again two to three hours on another appointment just to get the results. Of course the answer was no, making me wonder if this is just another way to bill Medicare more $$. I will no longer go to Dr. Cohen, nor recommend him to anyone. It took a bit to get my records transferred and upon review there was a medication on my record that was never prescribed, nor did Dr. Cohen ever give me a script for, nor did we ever discuss. Just makes me wonder how many other mistakes would be on my medical record had I continued going to Dr. Cohen. Cohen Medical Center 8330 Red Oak St Ste 201 Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730

Dr. Cohen has keep me alive now 20 year now! He is getting people in and out at his office fast now, still giving everyone his personal touch. Singing to you or getting mad at for not having better diabetic number. Love the guy.
Dr Cohen has to be one of the last "old time" doctors who really care about each and every one of his patients. I have been going to him for the last 15 years as well as most of my family. I actually look forward to my appointments with Dr. Cohen as he is always so upbeat and friendly.Never do I feel rushed or pressured and he always makes sure you get all your questions answered before you leave. Everyone I have recommended him to always thank me for putting them in touch with a doctor who takes care of all their medical needs no matter how large or small they are. Don't pay attention to those post that complain about having to wait for to see him. Believe you me he is worth it. I am willing to wait however long it takes to get the best and Dr. Cohen is without a doubt the best.
I am sitting here waiting this after 2 hours and 30 min wait time. And still have not seen the dr. Apparently he does this everytime because everyone acts like it's no big thing that I've beg here almost 3 hours and yet to see anyone. Avoid this place at ALL cost.
Dr. Cohen is an excellent diagnostician. He is very caring taking the time to talk with you and makes sure you understand what is happening. Patients do have a long wait time in his office however.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
