List of John Day's Reviews
Dr. Day is amazing, exactly what you should expect in a Doctor. Never feel rushed, everything is explained so that you understand. Always feel comfortable
I never feel judged talking to Dr. Day about my mental health. Jody is the glue that holds the office together. They work great as a team. We are fortunate to have you's in Windsor.
Great doctor who always has time to hear you out and discuss options for your health care. It’s true he is sometimes hard to see but what good doctor isn’t ? The clinic down the hall is an option I have used with good results. Overall the best doctor my wife and I have ever had!
Hands down Dr. Day is the best. Cannot thank him or his staff enough for the help he has given my family over the years, especially the tragedy we have faced in the last weeks. #1 in my eyes, he couldn't be better.
Seems like a bad, uncooperative DR in my opinion/view. He isn't open to suggestions nor alternatives in combination with conventional medicine. He comes nothing close to wrongfully-disgraced Dr. Barnard who lost his license 2 years ago. It's time DR's adopt more holistic and integrative approaches to wellbeing. The pills alone aren't cutting it anymore. I've almost died many times because of the pills given to me by these conventional doctors. The future is going to be more holistic and its happening now.
He is picking and choosing healthy apples and taking patients who have no significant health problems. I have to fill long application form to be his patient and once I met him I am not impressed .Never bothered to go back to him . I don’t find him helpful and compassionate.
Dr. Day is the most compassionate physician I have ever encountered. He takes the time to listen to all of my questions, talks through each and every treatment option or diagnostic test in detail, and makes me feel like I'm his only patient. He has been an incredible support through issues with anxiety and depression, never diminishing my experience and checks in on my mental health when I am in the office for something unrelated. I feel validated, and therefore comfortable bringing any and all concerns to his attention; a factor of huge importance in family medicine.
My family doc of 30 years retired. New doc was around for a year but he moved away. Dr. Day took over my file. Cannot say enough about him. Top notch knowledge, knows when to bring in a specialist, compassionate yet knows when to push me to do for myself what I have to. Thank you Dr. Day. Jody at the front desk is excellent and the current location of his office is perfect. A friend's daughter is a med student and her eyes lit up and a big smile when I mentioned who my family doc is. Again, thank you Dr. Day!
I saw Dr Day at the walk-in clinic. He was amazing, he took the time to listen to me, and made me feel comfortable asking questions. He was very helpful and sent me for a test and switched my medications to better help me. I wish he was taking new patients.
Compassionate doctor, but in my view, not up to latest research unless it makes big pharma big money. He missed my low free testosterone levels for years, and I was prescribed medication that was causing shaking, and he wanted to give me some medication for parkinsons. More doctors need to seek out the root causes of issues, rather than using a band-aid solution that many pharmaceuticals are. The body has enormous potential to heal itself with the right supplements, and I'm not saying big pharma is bad. Unfortunately any doctor who doesn't toe the line is reprimanded. Such a shame. How can people sleep at night?

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
