Dr. Nazerali is the complete package when it comes to a medical provider. He is an incredibly skilled surgeon, my reconstructive results are so much better than I ever dreamed they could be! I actually forget I had a mastectomy and reconstruction most of the time. Aside from his surgical skill, Dr. Nazerali is incredibly compassionate. He takes his time and really makes sure his patients understand their options and he really listens to what the patient wants. I had a fantastic experience with him, and I am so blessed to have him as a part of my medical team! It is also worth noting that his nurses are top notch and I adore all of them.

Dr. Nazerali is an exceptional doctor who essentially gave me my breasts back following cancer, a double mastectomy, and a botched reconstruction by my local plastic surgeon. He and his staff went above and beyond, they were patient, kind, and explained everything to me including all options. Dr. Nazerali has assured me that he will walk this path with me until I am satisfied and happy with the results. I would give Dr. Nazerali and his staff 100 stars if I could! Highly recommend!

Dr.Nazerali was my plastic surgeon for my breast reduction and he was AMAZING! From start to finish, he was always attentive and upfront/honest about what may or may not happen post-op. I was having problems with pain related issues with my back and neck due to large breast and also insecure about my breast but after my surgery I am feeling much better. Mentally and physically. Dr.Nazerali is a blessing and a great surgeon. If there is any other work I need if Dr.Nazerali can do it, I’ll make sure he does. The day of my surgery his team made me feel so comfortable, it was really nice to know I was in good hands. Thank you oh and his team is great too! shout out to Tavish! Everyone was so wonderful.

Dr. Nazerali performed my extensive reconstruction surgery after a double mastectomy as a part of my cancer treatment. The results far exceeded my expectations. Not only were the results more that I could have asked for, but he also knowledgeable, courteous, and honest with me about what to know and expect from the surgery I had. Dr. Nazerali took his time explaining all possible outcomes of the surgery he performed, had many consultations with me prior to my surgery to make sure I felt prepared, and was always kind and compassionate with me. He was very confident in his abilities to perform the type of surgery we decided was best for me, which put me at ease that I was in very good hands. I definitely recommend Dr. Rahim Nazerali. Dr. Rahim Nazerali is a brilliant plastic surgeon, plastic reconstructive surgeon, and preforms microsurgery. Dr. Nazerali, Thuy-Van Huynh-Le, RN, and his entire team is extremely knowledgeable, attentive, caring, and have a lot of patience. I constantly asked a lot of questions, Dr. Nazerali explained to me in detail what treatment/surgeries I would need. I had a double mastectomy in 2018. I had cancer in one breast but I tested positive for BRCA 1, so I decided to have both breast removed. I had TE for a reconstructive surgery I scheduled for a later date. Dr. Nazerali later had to remove the TE in two separate surgeries because my body rejected each TE two separate times, Oct. 2019 and Nov. 2019. Chemo and radiation were not going to be necessary since I had DCIS, but when I had breast reconstruction surgery 2019, Dr. Nazerali found cancer in my mammary gland which he removed. I had a PET scan post-surgery and I was/am cancer free. I finished chemo Dec. 2019 and finished radiation 2020. I could not go to Stanford until recently due to having the correct medical insurance. I have been going to UC Davis, although UC Davis is good... Stanford had answers for me and ran tests to get answers. UC Davis told me “They think my images are not cancer”. Stanford knows if you have cancer or not, period. Stanford also knows what yearly images and tests that is required to screen for cancer. Dr. Nazerali, Stanford, and the entire staff took excellent care of me and I am thankful that I got to get this care and treatment. When reading views about Dr Nazerali, keep in mind he is a surgeon you may have wait longer some visits than others. I went to Stanford 36 times in 2018 and 38 in 2019, most of my appointments were on time. Dr. Nazerali gave me the time I needed for all my doctor visits. Stanford is a learning hospital so Dr. Nazerali usually had 1 to 4 new doctors with him, so awesome Dr. Nazerali is teaching his skills. Thank you for saving my life.
