Dr. Lipton is a very knowledgeable and friendly skin doctor. Recently I had an appointment for some of my skin issues and I was very pleased with the way she consulted me, the time she spent, the advice and treatment she gave to me. I highly recommend Dr. Lipton.Dana S. June 2021
Just had a visit with Dr Lipton for an infection around my cuticle. I had an excellent experience with her, she examined the area and the other issues I had around my cuticles regarding peeling skin. She prescribed creams to take care of the skin issue and then referred me to another Dr for the infection because she wanted to make sure my nail would not be affected. It was my first visit to you and I was very happy with her and would go back again, but hope I don't have to :)
Dr Lipton is really great! My son and I spent 30 minutes with her and took copious notes on his new acne fighting routine. She has high energy, great people skills, and very knowledgable. We will see her again if we need more help..but I think she has us on a great new program....
Dr Lipton misses obvious sign of skin cancer - Dr Lipton was my dermatologist and I went to her with an abnormal blue-brown growth on my body that looked very weird to me - in fact the night I found it I was beside myself because I thought it was cancer. I went to her immediately and told her that it looked like cancer - she completely dismissed my concerns, and said "it doesn't look like cancer" as if it were impossible (I am young). I expressed concern and asked for a biopsy but she said there's no need, just keep an eye on it. I saw her monthly after that for an unrelated skin treatment - she never asked about the growth and when I went to her three months later to ask again for a biopsy, she again said "we don't advise biopsy for these things just keep an eye on it". A year later I went to her and asked yet again for a biopsy. Low and behold, guess what it was? Yes, skin cancer. I have no medical training yet I was able to see this clearly the day I discovered it, yet a trained dermatologist dismissed it. I don't think I have ever been so angry in my entire life and not once did she admit a mistake. I have completely navigated my own treatment with trained doctors to remove the cancer, she has not checked in once or recommended any follow up treatment. I have asked for referrals to the necessary specialists and consulted parallel doctors. When it was removed doctors discovered early signs of invasion and I am still waiting on results to determine if it has spread. If I had not caught this myself and relied on dr Lipton's recommendations, I could have waited years and this cancer could have invaded further and who knows where I would be. Needless to say I will not see this doctor ever again.
Dr. Lipton has been part of my healthcare team for the past 5 or so years. She is so incredibly wonderful and I would highly recommend her to any patient in search of a caring, quality, and responsive dermatologist.
Dr. Lipton is very friendly. I had a full body skin check for lesions for the first time, and she made sure that I felt comfortable thoughout the process. She also recommended some products for my skin and wrote a prescription for Retin-A. (Side note: her skin is impeccable which makes you really trust her advice)
Just had my 1st appt with Dr Lipton and it was a great experience. First of all the PAMF in San Carlos is a great facility and the check in experience was easy. Dr Lipton listen to my concerns address them all and came up with a plan of attack for my skin issues. Overall really good experience.
Just visited Dr Lipton for an annual skin check-up. She was very attentive and comforting as she performed some minor removal procedure. I would highly recommend Dr. Lipton for your dermo needs. And you can easily access her online.
Really good!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
