Terrell Stevenson's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Stevenson is the most compassionate and caring human being you can imagine. She literally saved my son's life with her calm decision making when he was admitted to the Santa Clara medical center ER back in Summer 2021. We will never forget what you did for us that night, Dr. Stevenson. You're a true angel. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Dr. Stevenson lacks bedside manner, was rude, and unprofessional. This is in addition to him offering a contradictory medical opinion without further treatment or diagnosis following the initial visit. There was a 1.5 hour wait time to be seen with an appointment. When I raised my complaint to the office manager, who is his wife, it fell on deaf ears. Rather than attempting to resolve my complaint, she insisted that I was the problem. It's unfortunate that Dr. Stevenson and his staff provide such subpar service to the predominantly minority community of Inglewood, CA. The doctor seems incapable of providing respect and common courtesy to his patients.

During the pandemic the office was at many different locations. Some young UNPROFESSIONAL LITTLE GIRL answered the phone and gave me an address at 4477 W. 118th St. with an appointment. The office did not exist at the location I was given. I returned to 100 W. Regent and the whole building is boarded up and empty. I had a broken wrist and he was not the one for me. If this Dr. can not get his employee's in the right place there's NOTHING that he can do for anyone else. A COMPLETE LET DOWN...HE IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY. This seems like a game of seek and find...I NEED A PROFESSIONAL (nothing like Dr (?) Stevenson)

I do not recommend this place. The wait here is always extremely long with an appointment. Had surgery next day Dr Goring goes on vacation and I'm Left with no pain meds. Call the office for a week straight to ask them to get a hold of him to give me meds and never hear back from anyone. 2 weeks after surgery I finally go in and see Dr Stevenson explain all the problems I've had and on top of that have had to deal without pain meds and ge shows NO empathy. Tells me to Take Tylenol. Tylenol is not going toHelp someone who just had a total knee replacement! I'm scheduled to see my surgeon Dr Goring in 2 weeks after that horrible visit. Only to go back and the office be closed! No warning or calls yo Notified they wouldn't open. I don't drivé so had to Uber there and back. I not only wasted my time, money but I'm still in horrible pain. I'm extremely disappointed with this place. I will be looking for new Dr. and not returning here! Please do your research before coming to this place. Oh and the surgeon scheduler Johanna is extremely rude and unprofessional ass well. I've been dealing with her constant attitude for over 2 yrs trying to get the surgery scheduled. I wish I'd never gone thru with.....

I was recommended to Dr. Stevenson by my primary care provider. So I call to make an appointment, the receptionist or who ever to told me to call back tomorrow because the surgery director was not there.The next day I call to find out they are closed on Thursdays, why tell me to call when you know they are closed to public? Then I call The following day to make a appointment, to talk with the same person that blew me off. She asked if I ever visited the location before, I tell her No and she tells me that I need to have a regular visit first before surgery. That could have been asked on WED when I called and an appointment could have been already scheduled. So I finally get a appointment it's a freaking month out, which brings me to today the day of my visit and guest What the Doctor cancels on me and I now have no appointment in sight. Why does Blue Shield back these trash ass facilities. I having a hard time finding any quality Centinela valley ipa. At this point they just close all together. Primary doctor Anakwenze who sent me here is ass too...

Total scum experience.I called the office and ask them if I could come in 30 minutes later and they insisted that the doctor only has time for assessments at 4:30 I was sitting there freezing for 3 hours I handed them to CDs he comes in to tell me that he deals with people who are broken with severe injuries and that I seem to be fine and that he is not a radiologist and he cannot read the CDs without the reports and I said the reports say I'm normal he said okay then you know you are normal and of course I came to a specialist because when the doctor always takes a look at it he can see so many details I've already been to two specialist before him I was getting a third opinion to refer me to the good physical therapist he is very rude, terrible bedside attitude. He doesn't even want to listen he wants to ignore what I'm saying and start an examination and I was finishing what I'm saying he calls a nurse in and say so you are refusing an examination I think at that point I had enough, I should never go there this whole medical insurance is a joke all the incompetent doctors accept it just to make money and practice threw LA Care

He is an absolute disgrace. Does not care about his patients at all. I hope he burns in hell.

Awful. When I arrived on time to my appt he wasn't even there! Wait time was 1 hour and 15 minutes, and when he did walk in he didn't even apologize! Seemed pretty pompous and full of himself. I was referred to him by my Primary for an issue with my hand and was told he didn't work on hands and needed to refer me to another doctor. I truly believe he knew this before I came in (he had my X-rays sent 2 weeks before). How hard would it have been to call me and tell me he's not the right doctor, can't do anything for me, don't waste my time? I honestly think he just wanted to bill for the office charge, even tho he did NOTHING. The office seemed old and outdated and felt dirty with NO air conditioning, on an 86 degree day, it's a miserable oven inside. The staff was actually pretty nice, it was him I had the problem with, very unprofessional. Thumbs down, I would NEVER go back.

I wish I had surgery with a different doctor. I feel like I'm worse off Now than before having the operation on my knee. And the doctor doesn't care enough about his patients only what it may cost him and his practice. I wanted an MRI because my knee was hurting months after surgery Not being able to step and I just wanted to see if everything was OK but instead his concern was with the cost of an MRI rather than the patient's peace of mind. Avoid him at all cost go somewhere else

I'm only giving this place 1 star because there's not an option for 0. Staff here is rude. Erika has no sympathy for pts and acts as if you bother her with your questions. My Mother does not speak English and unfortunately I have to work so I cannot attend every appointment. She asks Erika to ask Dr. Stevenson and she completely ignores her. Stevenson mumbles things under his breath, when my mom asks what is he saying she simply responds with "nothing". Meaning he's most likely saying things he shouldn't be. Now, Stevenson is rude, sarcastic, and unprofessional. He tells you one thing and the next time he tells you another. Constantly contradicts himself and acts like you're the stupid one. My Mother had a total knee replacement with him and said he would give her 6 months of disability. Now he states only 2 months. For a total knee replacement?!?!? You're kidding me! I do not recommend this place whatsoever.
